This project consists of a multi-functional space for previously incarcerated people to help them gain life skills that allow them to transition back into society. A place for them to express creativity, heal from trauma, gain professional experience and employment, and feel hope for a chance at normal life.

Program: Furniture
Location: San Jose, CA Spring 2025
This project consisted of making a piece of furniture but focusing on a certain type of joint.
For the side table I created, I utilized two boards of plywood and the half-lap joint to cut out indents where the legs and base pieces would interlock.
This project strengthened my skills in woodworking and technical drawing skills in Adobe Illustrator.
