Claude Eugène MIERAL took over the butter, eggs, cheese and poultry company that employed him at Montrevel.

1986

1952

He became chairman of the Bresse poultry Expediter Federation.

1960

Roger died.

Jean-Claude took over the company. Investissement projects (700 000 frs).

1990

1957

His son Jean-Claude (16 years old), joined the company.

2008

Restoration works (6 millions frs).

Valéry (jean-Claude’s son) joined the company.

Claude Eugène died.

His son Roger took over the company.

Vote of the law assigning the AOC to the Bresse poultry.

2010

MIERAL took over one of his competitor B.B.V located at Marboz (01). Jean-Claude stepped down in favour of his sons Valéry et Florent in 2009.

1,5 M€ investment to upgrade quality of service and comply with European standards.

The team, our customers and export We currently employ 35 people full time.

We mainly supply restaurants and high quality products retailers.

Poultry for private customers is also available at our shop “Le Coq Hardi” at Viriat.

Exports to Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Luxembourg, Holland, Danemark, Japan, Hong-Kong, Macao and others countries represent around 30 % of our total turnover.

Products MIERAL offer this selection of 8 free range Bresse poultries with AOP. The Poultry is selected by hand, at the perfect maturity, from breeders who work with passion, strong know-how and expertise.

Then each poultry is manually and meticulously slaughtered, plucked, eviscerated and folded.

“La pliée” (folding process), made by trained professionals, is the main and final stage in which is selected the perfect poultry.

Orders: All orders can be placed via email, fax or over the phone to our office. You also have the possibility to leave a voicemail on our answer phone with your full contact and order details. These orders will be proceed on the next working day on office hours.

Deliveries : We proceed with deliveries from Monday to Friday everywhere in France. Frequency and timing depend on destinations. Thank you to contact us by email, fax or over the phone for delivery times and transport costs.

Price list will be send to you as quickly as possible.

We update our prices once a year regarding raw materials and other costs fluctuations.

Credit terms : New customers will be supplied on Cash On Delivery basis only. Monthly credit facilities (30 days) are applied after the 2nd order.

Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer.

VAT : All our products are subject to VAT at 5,5%. We also apply VAT on transport at 20%.
