Ovamboland is situated north of the Etosha Pan and is the homeland
of the Ovambo people. It is one of the most densely populated areas of Namibia and the gateway to Angola. Although it doesn’t really offer much in terms of tourist attractions, travellers passing through the larger towns of Ovamboland like Oshakati, Ondangwa and Oshikango, can get just about all the services they need for their trip further north.
