Rest in peace, dear friends

A terrible tragedy shook our beautiful, safe community of CransMontana on 1 January 2026. st Expressions of compassion and solidarity flooded in from all over the world, along with hundreds of flowers and messages of comfort. We pray for those who lost family and friends. We wish courage and promise our support for those who were injured or lost loved ones and are beginning to rebuild their lives.

Le Régent’s Community Pop Choir

We'd love you to join our new Le Régent Community Pop Choir, which is a fun, relaxed communal singing experience.
No need to read music, no auditions, no experience required, no pressure!
We are actually the first school in the world to be using a fantastic platform called “Some Voices”, which is one of the biggest and best pop rock choir groups in the UK All the songs are pre-recorded for you to listen and learn in your own time, then we practice all together in the assembly hall every Tuesday from 5-6pm We are already around 20 students, staff and parents and we are already making an amazing sound!
You’ve sung in the stadiums for your favourite sports teams, you’ve sung along at pop and rock concerts. Come and re-experience that special feeling of joy and solidarity that only singing with lots of other people can create.
Grab a friend and come along!

Beautiful People
by Aryan Aswani, IB1
A life full of insecurities

A life full of scary eyes goodbyes and ugh a loosened tie
Beautiful people full of connection leaving behind a few innocent minds
Minds full of innocence grace and happiness
The kind of people who are hard-working yet unrecognized
Loyal to many but still compromised
And kind to all but still sacrificed
The secret drivers of this new modern world
People who were remembered in their good times
But thrown away, forgotten like dust in their bad times
Pure survivors who may have no one to rely on
But can always be relied upon by others
Some might see this as a weakness
In its entire truthfulness
It’s the essence and power of innocence
One that is not foolish but mature
One that is not desperate but hopeful
One that is constantly seeking the good
In the people of this imperfect world

The kind of people who were not meant to fit in a world full of
One-word replies, artificial situationships and snapchat streaks
But true seekers of genuine connections and relationships
We are rare but not gone
Hate us or love us
Respect us or mock us
We will survive!
Aryan has written a book! He will present “Through my Eyes” on Tuesday 24th February at 14:30 in the Library! Don’t miss it!!
