I was born and grew up in Vietnam; in 2009, I decided to study abroad and leave Vietnam for Australia for my studying. In December 2013, after four years spent in lectures and laboratory, I finally graduated Bachelor of Engineering with a major in Mechanical Engineering at Griffith University, Australia. My engineering and project management career was established right after graduation. Working as a Mechanical engineer and then the administrator of an HVAC project has gained me more skills and experience in coordinating and managing of project career. In January 2018, I decided to get married and left Australia for the American dream. The architecture was not intended to my attention until 2020, after I received the invitation to tender as a general builder to finish the interior of the Nail Salon shop. Architecture is not only learning art, structure, building, and construction but also we learn about people, human being, and their cultures.

GOLDEN MEAN CONSTRUCTION
The Golden Mean is a construct based on the properties of the square and the resulting Golden Mean. Using the diagonal constructed from a center point on one side of the square and constructing a diagonal to an opposite corner, the diagonal serves as a radius for extending the square’s dimensions and finding the golden mean. By drawings, trace paer and sketching, the etablishment of a field to simplyfy “ground” and juxtapose intersect and deciding what is projected as a solid or as a space.

FORMAL ORDERING EXERCISES AND PRECEDENT
The exercises designed to develop student skill and understanding of formal odering syste,s. Students have been assigned a precedent project to analyze and present to the class. the assigment includes producing design presentation drawings and a physical scale model of the given precent

NORTH OF THE ISLAND/ LATINO CULTURE MUSEUM

ARTES DE LA ROSA MARINE THEATRE
The historic Northside, with its strong Mexican-American identity, is located northe of river, Downtown and West 7th area. the assignment requried to develop a roof system over a simple structural frame. As this system was designed in coordination with formal ordering systems studied in the first half of the semester (grid, proportion, etc.). After the designing of the roof, the question is how can a spatial strategy for the building site (interior and exterior spaces) develop from what already been designed.

ARTES DE LA ROSA MARINE THEATRE

Study models are great for designers to test out ideas and make decisions. This is important for study process to help student analize and have critial thinking for the design.
