Who I am? An Introduction: I am a graphic designer. I am graduated from the Ibero-American University of Science and Technology (UNICIT, MANAGUA). I have experience in digital design, advertising and Corporate Image, besides, I have knowledge about print processes. I have worked as a freelancer for more then 6 years for companies in Nicaragua and also international companies located mostly in USA. I also worked for organizations such as the German cooperation (GIZ) and for national organization like the national police of Nicaragua. I am Living currently in Dresden since October 2016 and work since November 2016 in Wandmotiv 24 in Meissen as a Grafik designer. Starting the 2019 I started to manage a Graphic team. The team is composed mostly of trainees (Azubi).

Z
icaragua besitzt die größten Wasserressourcen Mittelamerikas. Und trotzdem steht seiner Bevölkerung Trinkwasser nur eingeschränkt zur Verfügung. Zwar sind 89% der städtischen Haushalte an die öffentliche Trinkwasserversorgung angeschlossen, doch vielerorts fließt das Wasser nur für wenige Stunden und auch nur an einigen Tagen in der Woche durch die Leitung. Im ländlichen Bereich sind sogar nur 68% der Haushalte an die Wasserversorgung angeschlossen. Das bedeutet für viele Menschen, dass sie häufig mehrere Stunden am Tag mit der Beschaffung und Aufbewahrung von Wasser beschäftigt sind und es zum Teil sogar teuer kaufen müssen. An die Abwasserentsorgung sind nur knapp 40% der städtischen Haushalte angeschlossen. Doch auch ihre Abwässer werden nur selten umweltverträglich geklärt. Sie stellen zusammen mit den Abwässern der Landwirtschaft eine Belastung für die Gewässer dar, so auch den Nicaragua See. Er ist der zweitgrößte See Lateinamerikas, und wird seit wenigen Jahren vom staatlichen Wasserversorger, der auch für die Abwasserentsorgung zuständig ist, als Trinkwasserquelle genutzt. Die derzeitigen Herausforderungen bestehen darin, die Bevölkerung nachhaltig mit Trinkwasser zu versorgen und eine effiziente Abwasserbehandlung zu leisten. Dafür müssen die Grundlagen einer kontrollierten Nutzung der Wasserressourcen geschaffen werden, um die Trinkwasserversorgung für die heutige und auch zukünftige Generationen sicherzustellen.

Dabei werden insbesondere der staatliche Wasserversorger und die nationale Wasserbehörde in ihren Management- und Reformkompetenzen gestärkt und bei der Entwicklung und Anwendung von effizienten Prozessen und Instrumenten beraten, die zur nachhaltigen Entwicklung des Wassersektors beitragen. Insbesondere die Bevölkerung in den direkt vom Programm unterstützten Regionen, profitiert von einer verbesserten Servicedienstleistung der städtischen Trinkwasser- und Sanitärversorgung und der Sicherstellung der Wasserressourcen hinsichtlich ihrer Qualität und Quantität.
