Celebration of International Tenants’ Day/World Habitat Day 5th October 2020 15.00-16.30 Brussels - Digital meeting The International Union of Tenants (IUT), organisations for tenants in Sweden, BosniaHercegovina and North Macedonia in cooperation with Freja Forum Foundation are inviting you to celebrate International Tenants’ Day/World Habitat Day. The United Nations have designated the first Monday of October of every year as World Habitat Day since 1985. IUT also celebrates the International Tenants’ Day on this date. This year the theme is Housing For All - A Better Urban Future. Housing is a fundamental right in every society and therefore needs to be adressed locally, nationally and internationally.
