Exmouth Seaside

Exmouth was once considered to be the most select seaside resort in Britain. It now offers a rich mixture of immaculate sands, lovely gardens, a bustling town centre and a busy marina. Situated where the river Exe meets the sea, Exmouth affords easy access to this part of the beautiful south coast of England and its inland towns and villages. Just ten miles from Exeter, the county capital, Exmouth enjoys lovely views and stunning sunsets alongside the River Exe and its nature reserve. Exmouth is a Georgian resort town and was

once home to Lord Nelson and Lady Byron.

With a lovely ‘sandtastic’ beach, glorious coastal and countryside walks, quaint little shopping streets and events to entertain one and all, Lyme Regis is not short of interesting things to see and do! A trip to Lyme Regis wouldn’t be complete without a stroll around the iconic Cobb harbour and on a clear day you will be rewarded with some of the finest views along the coast. West Bay is a charming fishing village on the Jurassic Coastline which has enjoyed a surge in popularity in recent years while playing host to ITV’s smash hit drama, Broadchurch starring David Tennant and Olivia Colman.

It’s not hard to see why the location was chosen, West Bay offers some stunning landscape to explore with breath-taking views from its dramatic coastline.

OR Cardigan is an ancient market town on the River Teifi estuary in the heart of Cardigan Bay and home of the first Welsh Eisteddfod. The narrow streets, traditional shops, inns and eating places, many with their original Georgian and Victorian fronts, help create a unique visitor experience.

For a family day out, why not head for one of the many Paignton attractions, like Paignton Zoo? Kids and adults alike will have a great time exploring the Savannah or the Wetland. The zoo is also home to some of the rarest species on the planet. Alternatively, Paignton is home to some fantastic Blue Flag beaches so why not take a stroll along the golden sands or hire a boat and simply mess about on the water? Sidmouth Summer Trip

Seaside

Sidmouth is a beautiful coastal town with a regency feel which is ideal for visitors of all ages. Located amidst spectacular countryside Sidmouth is home to beautiful beaches, stylish eating places and great shopping, with everything from unusual gifts, designer clothing and lifestyle goods available. The resort was very fashionable in the 1800s and was visited by Queen Victoria in her youth as well as the Grand Duchess of Russia in 1831!

Sidmouth is home to hundreds of listed buildings and a liberal sprinkling of blue plaques can be found around the town if you keep your eyes peeled!

Tenby is probably the most iconic seaside town in Wales, rivalling places like Mevagissey and Polperro for quaintness and charm.

This pretty seaside town has three great beaches; north, south and castle, each with its own character and all facing in different directions so at least one should be sheltered if it happens to be windy!

OR Saundersfoot is a small seaside resort in between Tenby and Amroth. It is much more compact than Tenby with a charm and character of its own that is well worth exploring, particularly for those a little less energetic. The main attraction, though, is it’s long, wide and sandy beach.

Day Trips Booking Information Please note this agreement applies only to day trips (no accommodation) that are operated by Leisuretime.

Please also refer to our website, to your booking agent and travel documents for further terms and information relating to Day Trips operated Leisuretime.

This agreement should be read in conjunction with Important Holiday Information, Privacy Policy, our Website Terms and Conditions of Use, together with any other documentation we bring to your attention, forms the basis of your contract with Leisure Time (Wales) Limited, trading as Leisuretime.

By making a booking, the first named person on the booking agrees on behalf of all persons detailed on the booking that they have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.

1. Once issued, tickets are not refundable or transferable to other dates should you or any member/s of your party has to cancel. We do, however, offer insurance cover for cancellation due to illness etc. Please refer to your policy for full details of the cover.

11. Leisuretime reserves the right to alter published prices as a result of price increases in raw materials or other products supplied to it.

2. Passengers are advised to check their tickets at the time of booking to ensure that all details are correct.

13. For whatever reason, should the coach be late arriving at its designated pick-up point, at the destination/attraction itself or at the return drop-off point, Leisuretime will not be liable to offer any form of compensation. Should a trip have to be curtailed due to unforeseen circumstances, such as mechanical or other vehicle defects, compensation, if any, shall be at the total discretion of Leisuretime.

3. The coach will not be held for late arrivals and no refund will be made to passengers who miss the coach. Departure times are only as stated on the travel ticket. Leisuretime is not liable for the costs of transporting any passenger when they fail to arrive at a pick-up point in adequate time for the departure of the coach.

4. We will make every effort to keep to the published timetable but will not be responsible for any loss through delay however caused or for passengers who are not at any departure point. Leisuretime reserves the right to cancel any departure. Every effort will be made to contact passengers (provided we have contact details). If in doubt, please contact us three days prior to travel to confirm departure. Should a tour be cancelled by us all monies paid will be refunded. No compensation will be paid.

5. Leisuretime reserves the right to change seat numbers on the coach when necessary but this will as far as possible be avoided.

6. We recommend you insure your luggage as a property is carried at the owner’s risk. Leisuretime will not be liable for any loss or damage.

7. Clients are responsible for their own luggage and to see it loaded onto the coach on day of travel and on departure from the hotel. Please wait and physically take it away with you when you leave the coach. It is not the driver’s responsibility once luggage is on the pavement.

8. Smoking is not allowed onboard and offenders will be required to leave the vehicle. Mobile phones should be used with discretion to avoid distracting the driver. Passengers are not allowed to consume alcohol on board, nor are they permitted to enter or remain on a vehicle if the driver considers their behaviour to present a hazard to other passengers.

Any passenger considered by the driver to be a nuisance may be asked to leave the tour in which case no refund will be made.

12. Leisuretime reserves the right to alter itineraries without prior notification.

14. Children: Child ages for ‘coach only’ fares are 3-14 years (inclusive). Infants (under 3 years) can be carried on laps at no extra charge. Please note additional seats belts are not available for them. If you require a separate seat for your Infant you will need to provide a car seat and you will pay the child price. Please note, the car seat must be fitted by you, the driver cannot do this. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that a car seat will fit the coach seat and/ or safety belt. Child ages for excursions inclusive of entry vary (please enquire at the time of booking).

Please note: all passengers are booked as adults unless you advise otherwise at the time of booking.

15. Leisuretime is not responsible for, nor liable for the costs of, transporting any passenger including unaccompanied minors (15 and under) should they fail to arrive at any coach departure point inadequate time for the prearranged departure time of the coach.

16. All prices quoted are in pounds sterling and must be paid in this currency.

17. In the event of any conflict between any special offers on our website and the price quoted by our reservations departments the price quoted by our reservations department will prevail.

18. All information and prices detailed in this printed material and online are correct at the time of going to print, however, these are subject to change. All prices are based on the lowest prices available at the time and to be used as a guideline only.

9. Only Guide Dogs and Hearing Dogs are allowed on these departures, and they may be carried free of charge. Some itineraries may not be suitable for disabled passengers - please check with us before booking to avoid disappointment.

10. Leisuretime shall not be liable to the client under any circumstances for the payment of damages, costs, other compensation or expenses in the event that Leisuretime does not, for any reason, receive its pre-ordered and paid for allocation of tickets for an event. Leisuretime will, in such circumstances, only be liable for, and shall return, the payment that it has received from the customer.
