Kirk and her family, who breed ponies on their farm, had hoped to be living in the farmhouse during their son’s upcoming senior year at Langley High School. The Fairfax County Park Authority (FCPA) board of directors on Jan. 29 approved a review and revision of a master plan for the park, one of the first few places in the county chosen for a resident curatorship. The MITRE Corp. received unanimous approval from the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Feb. 20 to add about 60 percent more development at its 22.51-acre corporate camps in western McLean.
