Brown Planetarium being given protections through a local historic district. School officials had opposed the idea, saying it would tie their hands as they try to add new seats for incoming students. They were backed by SUPERINTENDENT County Man- PATRICK MURPHY ager Mark PROPOSES SPLITTNG Schwartz, who NEW HIGH-SCHOOL said that while SEATS BETWEEN the buildings do have histor- EDUCATION CENTER ic value, other AND CAREER CENTER. considerations – Story, Page 5 argued against imposing restrictions on the school system.
