Strong Spirit to Make Dreams Come True s a talented consultant on the world stage and as a recognised environmental engineer, Ken is vigorously achieving new heights. But his path has not been all glamorous. When he decided to immigrate to Canada in 1975, leaving behind offers from top corporations and advice from acquaintances who really needed him, the situation was harsh. As a first generation immigrant, his life was a constant struggle between ‘crisis’ and ‘survival’--unable to see or be sure of anything beyond his nose.

For Ken, his pride as the elite KS graduate (Kyunggi High School & Seoul National University) became rather insignificant. Upon settling into Toronto, luckily, he was introduced to Minister John Munro by an acquaintance. Consequently, he received the biggest gift from Canada: government grants for his English studies and living expenses.
