Orphaned at a young age and cruelly treated by her Aunt, Jane Eyre grows up knowing little kindness. In spite of their social differences an unlikely bond grows between them but as their romance develops, it becomes clear that Rochester has a hidden past that threatens to ruin them both.

Leeds Grand Theatre offers a range of activities for children and young people.

Lift Access / Upper Levels There is an access lift from Box Office to the Foyer and lift access from the Foyer to all levels except the Upper Balcony.

Some areas have steep stairs and may not be suitable for people with limited mobility or fear of heights – if you have concerns check with Box Office before purchasing tickets.

Schools Partnership Programme Our engaging, curriculum-focused activities for primary and secondary schools challenge students to explore job roles at the theatre, tackle real world situations and think creatively. City Varieties Youth Theatre Are you aged 8 – 17 and interested in theatre?

Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performances, which may be the interval. Please note that the Latecomers Policy is set on a show by show basis. We advise you arrive at least 30 mins before the performances to avoid queues, especially if collecting tickets.

WHERE TO FIND US Leeds Grand Theatre in situated on New Briggate, in the heart of Leeds City Centre. Parking is available at various nearby car parks including Edward Street/Templar Street and the St John’s Centre and Merrion Centre shopping malls. We are walking distance from Leeds Bus Station and Leeds Rail Station – visit wymetro.com for the most up to date travel information.

There are taxi ranks on Merrion Street and The Headrow but we recommend booking taxis in advance, particularly on Fri and Sat evenings.
