The Leeds Youth Advisory Board consists of highly motivated high school leaders from the greater Winchester area. It meets biweekly to work on arts-based projects, strengthen leadership skills through seminars, and enhance the greater community through enrichment opportunities.

Aaliyah is a Freshman at GRC High School. She was recently elected to Student Council, is on the Mock Trial team, and in the Black and Hispanic Achievers club. She is on the GRC Swim Team and part of the Women's Chorus. Aaliyah is excited to be back on the stage at Leeds. Her most recent roles were a Silly Girl in Beauty and the Beast and a Narrator in Into the Woods at RDC. She hopes you enjoy this amazing production!
Abby is a freshman at Tates Creek High School in Lexington. This is Abby's first community production at Leeds. She has previously performed as Wanda Petronski in Tates Creek Middle School's production of The Hundred Dresses. She was an Oompa Loompa in Tates Creek High School's production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Abby has performed numerous times in summer workshops at Lexington Children's Theatre as Hermione Granger (Harry Potter and the Double Bubble Quidditch Trouble), Mal (The Descendants), and an Announcer (Harry Potter and the Cauldron of Doom). She was part of the tech
crew for Tates Creek Middle School 's production of The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane and Stage Manager for Tates Creek High School's production of The Wizard of Oz.
Addisyn is a seventh grader at Royal Spring Middle School, and this is her first production with Leeds. She has been cast as Winifred in Mary Poppins, Dori in Schoolhouse Rock, and ensemble in Cinderella and Aladdin at her community theater, as well as currently playing Brittany in Parents Just Don’t Understand at her school. Addisyn is in Gifted and Talented for vocal music and was selected for All State Children’s choir in 2023. She is so excited to finally do a show with Leeds and looking forward to future shows.
Addyson is a Freshman at Powell County High School. Her previous shows include Aristocats Kids (Napoleon), Rudolph Jr. at GRAC (Train & Elf), Singing in the Rain Jr (Ensemble), and participation in Rock University at Leeds along with many dance classes. She enjoys drawing, learning about history, theatre, playing guitar, and making jewelry. She would like to thank her parents and the Cox family for bringing her to rehearsal. She hopes you enjoy watching the show as much as she enjoys being in it!
Allison is currently a Freshman at GRC High School. She loves doing musicals and performing on stage. In her spare time, she loves reading and hanging out with friends. Even though Allison has been in many shows before, this is her first one at Leeds. She’s super excited to show you the performance and all the hard work put in to make it!
Meet Annabel Meredith! She has been doing theatre for about four years, portraying the roles of Coral in Finding Nemo, Mr. Rat in The Wind In the Willows, Snow White in Snow White, and even more than what is mentioned here! She hopes to play many more amazing roles in the future. In her free time you will find her dancing or singing, as well as going on hikes, biking, hanging with friends and family. She hopes to pursue a career in musical theatre and help teach people about the Lord!
Asher is a Freshman at SCAPA/Lafayette High School. Some of his previous shows include Fester Addams in The Addams Family Jr at Morton Middle School and Professor Callahan in Legally Blonde Jr. at Morton Middle School. Asher enjoys spending time with his family and friends and taking care of his pets. He hopes you have a great time at the show!
Ava VanMeter is a sophomore at Lexington Christian Academy and is thrilled to be part of another Leeds production. Favorite past roles include Scuttle in The Little Mermaid, Lina Lamont in Singin’ in the Rain Jr., Mal in The Descendants, Young Fiona in Shrek the Musical, Caitlin in Mean Girls, Clarice in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer the Musical, Mayzie LaBird in Seussical Jr., Jojo in Newsies Jr., Pinocchio in Shrek Jr., Matilda in Matilda the Musical, Flounder in The Little Mermaid Jr., Young Elsa in Frozen Jr., and Jojo in Seussical the Musical, Jr. Ava also participates in ACTivate Artists with Purpose. Ava is so thankful for this

This is Avery’s fifth show with Leeds, with her past shows being Matilda (Matilda), Singin’ In the Rain (Dora Bailey), Aristocats (Duchess), and James and the Giant Peach (School Child). Her favorite show to date was Matilda! In her free time she likes hanging out with friends, listening to music, and taking classes at Leeds. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her on her musical theatre journey. She would also like to thank her Leeds family for everything they have done for her. She hopes you have so much fun and enjoy the show!
Avery is a 4th grader at Calvary Christian school, and she is no stranger to Leeds! She has been a SPARK student, completing studies in Musical Theatre Dance and Creative Storytelling, as well as the SPARK Summer Camp program. She has also enjoyed participating in productions with the Winchester Players, such as Time Warp and Banned of Broadway She has been dancing with her church drama ministry since she was small, and enjoys any opportunity to bring joy and light to others through the arts. She has big dreams, a creative mind, and a nurturing heart that she pours into her endeavors. She is so excited to
bring extra joy to the community through her involvement in her first Leeds production!
Brody is a sixth grader at Baker Intermediate School. He has previously appeared as Michael Banks in Baker’s production of Mary Poppins Jr, a stagehand in Singin’ in the Rain Jr at Leeds, Tommy in Matilda the Musical at Leeds, Prince Hans in Frozen Kids at Shearer Elementary, and Mowgli in Jungle Book Kids at Shearer Elementary. Brody plays French Horn in the Baker Intermediate Band and participates as a vocalist and drummer in Rock University at Leeds. In his spare time, Brody enjoys Legos as well as playing Minecraft and other games. He would like to thank his family and friends for their support. He hopes you poor unfortunate souls enjoy the show!
Cricket Brown is excited to return to the Leeds stage for The Little Mermaid! They are a 2023 GSA alum for musical theatre, and they were also accepted for drama. Some of their favorite credits include: Mack (Peter and the Starcatcher), Ancestor (The Addams Family), Ensemble (The Prom) and Busy Bee (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee). For the little time they aren't on stage, Cricket loves spending their time painting and listening to music. They hope you enjoy the show!
Ella is a third grader at Justice elementary. She has been an active participant in Leeds SPARK programs and has enjoyed playing roles such as Akeela and the Queen of Hearts during past showcases. Ella plays the piano and enjoys singing and dancing. In her spare time she can be found reading, crafting and playing with her sister. This is Ella’s first big show and she is so excited for the opportunity.
Ella Pace is a Freshman at GRC and has had so much fun during Little Mermaid! Some of her previous theatre experiences include Silly Girl in Beauty and the Beast, Toulouse in Aristocats, Lucinda in Into the Woods, and an Ancestor in The Addams Family Ella can’t wait to participate in even more shows, and she is so excited for what the future holds!
Ella Howton is currently a junior at George Rogers Clark High School Having grown up on stage, she made her very first theatrical debut at the age of 8, as the Lullaby League in The Wizard of Oz right here at Leeds! Since then she has gone on to play dozens of roles, including Elsa (Frozen Jr.), Dorothy (The Wizard of Oz), and Alice (The Addams Family). Ella also pursues the arts through dance, vocal lessons, and her high school Cohort program, and is a 2024 alum of the prestigious Governor’s School for the Arts. When not on stage, Ella loves to travel, swim, and read. She’s ready to make a splash and hopes you enjoy the show.
Elly Dore is 10 years old and a fourth grader at Shearer Elementary. This is Elly’s first show with Leeds. However, she is not a stranger to this stage as she is a part of the Spark education classes where she enjoys tap and musical theatre dance. She has been a part of Shearer Musical Theatre for 3 years. In her spare time she enjoys singing, dancing, gymnastics and playing with makeup and teaching her dog, Benni, new tricks She wants to thank her Mom and Dad for encouraging her and Mrs. Tracey, Ellie, Jacob and Mr. Steve for giving her a chance to shine!
Emerson Kincaid is super excited about Little Mermaid Jr! This is her sixth theater performance. She is a seventh grader at RDC. In her spare time, she enjoys singing, reading, and making people laugh. She hopes you enjoy being part of their world.
Emily Howton is an 8th grader at RDC and started her theater journey right here at Leeds in the production of James and the Giant Peach in 2019, and has been in love with the stage ever since. She has acted in several plays since her first, including School House Rock Jr., Addams Family Young at Part (Uncle Fester), High School Musical Jr (Jackie Scott), The Little Mermaid Jr (Ursula), Into the Woods Jr (Witch), The Addams Family (Uncle Fester) and soloist in two Broadway review productions of Cardinal Center Stage. Emily also participates in the Arts through Leeds Spark Program of musical theatre, tap, and private voice lessons,
chorus, voice lessons at Erika's Voice Studio, clogging at Studio One, and two theater programs. When not on the stage, she is also involved in Girl Scouts, STLP, Club. Emily is so excited to be back on the stage this weekend and hopes you enjoy this spectacular show!
Emily McLean is in her sixth year of acting and is super excited to be on the stage for The Little Mermaid Jr. She has been in two Leeds productions along with several Spark Showcases, and shows outside of Leeds. She is thankful for Leeds and the opportunities it gives for young actresses like herself. She would also like to thank her friends and family for all the love & support shown over the years. Evan Pasley is a Freshman at George Rogers Clark High School. Evan is so excited to be in his first show at Leeds in The Little Mermaid Jr Evan’s previous shows include The Addams Family, Into the Woods, Mary Poppins Jr., Beauty and the Beast Jr., and several showcases. Evan can’t wait to see you all at the show!!!
Evelyn Fairchild is a ten year old homeschool student in Clark County and is thrilled to be appearing in her first ever theatrical production! In addition to her interest in musical theatre she has taken dance for six years, and swims on the local swim team. Her love for reading consumes much of her free time but she also enjoys listening to worship music and singing, attending and serving in her church, and playing imaginatively outside. She hopes that you enjoy your time "Under the Sea" !
Foster Holt is thrilled to be back for his fourth show at Leeds! He previously appeared on the Leeds stage in Newsies, JR (Les), Matilda the Musical (Eric), and Singin’ in the Rain JR. (Assistant). He is currently taking classes with Leeds SPARK education program and is loving Rock University. Foster is in seventh grade at Model Laboratory School and enjoys book club, band, and Odyssey of the Mind. Foster would like to thank everyone at Leeds for making such a fun place to create magic.
Grace is extremely excited to play Ursula in The Little Mermaid Jr here at Leeds! She has spent years working on her performances and Ursula is one of her dream roles! Grace's most recent roles include Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, Lina Lamont in Singin' in the Rain, and Margo in Legally Blonde. This is Grace's fifth show with Leeds and she is very grateful for the family this production has built.
Hadley is thrilled to be back on stage at Leeds Center for the Arts in her second show, The Little Mermaid Junior! She made her theater debut last year in Singin' in the Rain Junior and has been hooked on the magic of performing ever since. Outside of theater, Hadley is a sixth grader at Seton Catholic School, where she plays volleyball, sings in the school choir, and participates in Scouts. She was excited to have recently been selected for the Kentucky American Choral Directors Association Honor Choir. When she’s not acting, singing, or playing sports, Hadley loves spending time with her horses, her cat, and the many other critters she cares for at home!
Hannah Grace Cox is a sophomore in high school and attends Cox Girls Academy. She has been in M*A*S*H* (Ho-Jon) and done solos for High School Musical (Chad) and The Well Original Production (teacher). She hopes to continue theater through the rest of high school. Frequently, you will find her with her horse, Maple May, writing poetry or rock climbing. Hannah-Grace plans to study animal sciences in college with hopes of becoming a large animal emergency veterinarian. She is incredibly blessed to have amazing friends (The Haydens) and family who drive her to practice and back. She hopes you love the glimpse of a part of our world.
Harper is a sixth grader at Baker Intermediate and is super excited to be Ariel’s bestie, Flounder, in this production. Harper has been in several productions with Leeds and Shearer Musical Theatre. Her favorite roles to date are Olaf in Frozen Kids and Matilda in Matilda the Musical When she’s not on stage, Harper enjoys being involved with her school News Crew and Beta Club, spending time with her friends and family, and all things artsy. She would like to thank the cast and crew for making her time under the sea so much fun.
Joey is a senior at Franklin County High School. His previous theatre credits include Mr. Wormwood in Matilda, one of the Wickersham Brothers in Seussical the Musical, and ensemble in 9 to 5 In his free time, Joey likes to play his banjo, watch movies, and listen to music He plans to study music education and musical theatre in college. He wants to thank you all for supporting Leeds and hopes you take one step closer and delve deep into the world under the sea.
Josh is thrilled to be in his third show with Leeds and his fifth show ever! Being in other shows such as Bright Star and Anything Goes at GRC, as well as Legally Blonde and Singin’ in the Rain at Leeds, this show is a very different next step. He can’t wait to express his love for the arts with such a talented cast!
Kadyn is in the seventh grade at Edythe J Hayes Middle School in Lexington, Ky. At a young age, Kadyn enjoyed participating in the Performing Arts whether in church, school, or in the community Kadyn has performed in several plays and musicals in starring roles. She has continued to enhance her craft because she loves everything about acting and the stage. Kadyn is known as a triple-threat with her ability to act, sing and dance. She hopes to make this her life-long career. Kadyn does not shy away from the hard work and long hours it takes to make the production a success. Kadyn hopes to increase her acting skills through participating in Little Mermaid and her experience in Little Mermaid has allowed her to reconnect with old friends and enjoy meeting new friends.
Kaidyn is a Sophomore at George Rogers Clark High School. Previously, she has been in Beauty and The Beast at Robert D. Campbell Jr. High, and Anything Goes at George Rogers Clark High School. In her free time she likes spending time with friends and family, playing with her animals, and drawing! She hopes you enjoy the show!
Kendall is a senior in high school & freshman in the dual credit course at BCTC. Her previous roles include Henry in Newsies, Nancy Phillips in M*A*S*H, Harriet Roeder in Radium Girls, Junie B in Junie B. Jones, and Harry Potter in Harry Potter: Tales of Beedle the Bard. In her free time, she enjoys music, video games, and making coffee. She is majoring in entomology and is currently pursuing insect and plant preservation.
Kennedy is in fifth grade at Baker Intermediate school. She has loved watching many of Leeds previous shows and is now SOO excited to be in her first Leeds performance. Aside from The Little Mermaid, Kennedy is currently rehearsing for The Lion King at Baker, plays soccer, and sings in the school chorus. Kennedy wants to thank her parents and the Leeds staff for all their encouragement and support! Enjoy the show!
Laney is a senior at Montgomery County High School and plans to major in biomedical sciences following graduation. Her previous musicals she’s performed in include The Lion King Jr, Shrek Jr, Beauty and the Beast Jr, Into the Woods, and Legally Blonde She would like to thank her dad and her sisters for the continuous support as well as Lucy Razor and Martha Neal.
Lauren McCraith could not be more excited to be performing in The Little Mermaid Jr! You may have seen her other shows such as Leeds Center for the Arts’ Singin’ In the Rain as Broadway Dancer #2, Wednesday in The Addams Family at RDC, a Narrator in Beauty and the Beast at RDC, and Tommy Boy in the Leeds production of Newsies Jr. Lauren cannot wait for you to watch this wonderful show.
Lela Ashley is very excited to be a part of The Little Mermaid at Leeds. She has been active in theatre since she was in Elementary School. Her most recent performances have been at Robert D. Campbell, where she performed as Jack’s Mother in Into the Woods and a Fish Monger in Beauty and the Beast She has been a part of Cardinal Center Stage for the past two years and will be performing with them this year as well. When she isn’t on stage she is working hard at school towards becoming a Pediatric Nurse and enjoys hanging out with her wonderful friend group! She wants to thank her mom, brother, grandmother and grandfather for always supporting her passions.
Leorah is a 5th grader at Baker Intermediate School. Her theatre experience includes the SPARK program at Leeds, where she has studied Musical Theatre Dance and Creative Storytelling. She has performed with the Winchester Players in productions such as Time Warp and Banned of Broadway, and has been an active member of her church worship drama and dance ministries for most of her life. She has overcome many adversities already, including a stage 4 cancer diagnosis at just 6 years old. This November 13th she celebrates 4 years of remission! The arts have been a creative outlet for her through many seasons
of life, and she is so excited to share her passion with you in her very first Leeds production!
Maddie is a third grader at Sayre School. She studies with the Lexington Theatre Company. This is her theatrical debut. In Maddie’s spare time she enjoys swimming, playing soccer, dance, and musicals. Rainbow fish are the best!
Mary Cooper is a Senior at Frederick Douglass High School, where she has taken on a variety of roles, including Tweedledee in Alice in Wonderland, Scuttle in The Little Mermaid, Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast, and M’Lynn in Steel Magnolias. This past summer, she had the privilege of playing Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray, the first district-wide musical for Fayette County. Mary is eager to expand her experience in the arts as she plans to pursue a BFA in college. She is incredibly grateful to have met everyone involved in this production. This is her first performance at Leeds, and she looks forward to more opportunities in the future. She hopes you enjoy the show as much as she enjoyed performing in it!
McKinley is thrilled to be a part of her third production at Leeds Center, after performing in Singin’ in the Rain, Jr., and Legally Blonde Other credits include Morticia in The Addams Family Musical (RDC), Chastity in Anything Goes (GRC), Cruella de Vil in Descendants (ACTivate), and Babette in Beauty and the Beast (RDC). McKinley enjoys being a part of the Fine Arts Cohort at GRC and is currently serving on the Leeds Youth Advisory Board. She wishes to thank her parents, teachers, and all of the Leeds staff for their support and guidance.
Natalee is excited to be in her fourth Leeds performance and fourteenth performance in total! Her recent stage credits include Cinderella’s Mother in Into The Woods Jr., Ensemble in Singin’ in the Rain Jr., and Trainer in Ever Ever After. She would like to thank her dad for driving her to and from practice and her mom for just being amazing.
Phoenix is very excited to be part of Leeds’ production of The Little Mermaid. This will be his fourth time back on stage with the Leeds crew, as he has acted in previous productions of Aladdin, James and the Giant Peach, and Matilda When not on the stage, Phoenix enjoys singing in the choir, cruising town, and playing games with his friends. He wants to thank the wonderful staff of Leeds for keeping the arts alive in Winchester, KY.
Posy Holt is super excited to be in The Little Mermaid JR.! She was in her first musical last year at Leeds in Singin’ in the Rain JR (2nd Assistant) and soon after in The Wizard of Oz (Munchkin) at her school. She is taking classes with the Leeds SPARK Arts Education program in tap and voice. Posy is in sixth grade at Model Laboratory School where she enjoys art, drama, and Odyssey of the Mind. Posy would like to thank everyone at Leeds for all the happiness she feels when she’s there.
Raegan McCormick is super excited to be in another production at Leeds! Some of Raegan’s past theatre experiences include Dippy in GRC’s Anything Goes, Cogsworth in RDC’s Beauty and the Beast, and Nancy in Leeds’ Newsies Other than theatre, Raegan enjoys reading, choir, soccer, and spending time with friends and family. Ragan is a Freshman at Montgomery County High School. Her previous theatre credits include Sina in Moana Jr., Crush in Finding Nemo Jr., and King Moonracer in Rudolph Jr. Currently, Ragan participates in KUNA/KYA, Honors Choir, HOSA, and Academic Team. She is also the captain of the MCHS Mario Kart E-Sports Team and Assistant Stage Manager for Frozen Jr at the Gateway Regional Arts Center. Ragan is so thankful to be participating in her first production at Leeds and hopes you enjoy the show!
Ryan Carpenter is a junior at East Jessamine High School, where he is very involved with the arts. You may have seen him as the Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors, a Corny Collins Kid in Hairspray, or Shane Oman in Mean Girls. “Musical theatre has been a part of my life for so long, and it’s become a joyous element that never fails to put a smile on my face. My hope is that I can make you feel the same way when watching The Little Mermaid Jr. Enjoy!”
Sadie is a homeschooled sophomore. She is thrilled to be participating in her seventh official show at Leeds. Her past credits include Newsies Jr. (Spot Conlon/Olive), Into the Woods Jr (Lucinda), and Singin’ in the Rain Jr. (Zelda). Outside of musical theatre, Sadie’s favorite hobbies include crocheting, baking, and creative writing. She would like to thank her friends and family, as well as the amazing cast and crew, for making this show something incredibly special to her. Sarah Jane Crissman is a senior currently attending Asbury University's dual credit program Asbury Academy. This is her second show with Leeds as she was in Singin' in the Rain last fall, as well as served as secretary of the Leeds Youth Advisory Board last year. Sarah Jane has also appeared in many shows with the Bluegrass United Performing Arts Company (BUPAC), including Get Smart, Bye Bye Birdie, Radium Girls as various supporting roles, Oklahoma as Betty, M*A*S*H as Capt. Bridget McCarthy, Newsies as Mush, & will be appearing next as Cinderella & various supporting roles in The Brother's Grimm Spectaculathon.
arah Jane also toured with her older brother Nathan for 2 years as the Bluegrass/Americana duo "Route 451", on lead vocals & guitar. In her free time she enjoys crocheting, playing her guitar, creative writing, spending time with the Lord, & reading.
Shelby is a 17 year old senior at Menifee County High School. She’s been involved in theatre in the Menifee County Community Theatre group since she was 4 years old and this is her first show at Leeds! Her favorite roles she’s played include Cindy Lou Who in How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Violet Beauregarde in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, Molly in Annie, Mr. Boddy in Clue, and Marci, Marvalynn, and Ginnette in Almost, Maine She enjoys watching movies, singing, and traveling. Shelby plans to pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre in college. She has absolutely loved working with this cast and crew and will always remember the people she’s met here. Sylvie is a sophomore at George Rogers Clark High School. You may recognize her from Anything Goes as Spit (GRC Theatre) and Beauty and the Beast Jr. as Belle (RDC Theatre). Trent Conboy-Holden is a senior at George Rogers Clark High School, and has appeared in many Leeds productions, his first being The Wizard of Oz as the Mayor of MunchkinLand at age seven. Most recently, you may have seen him in Legally Blonde as various roles and Singin’ In the Rain as RF Simpson. Trent is a 2023 alumni of the Governor’s School for the Arts in Drama.
