Flower Sugar Holiday Pillow: The Dresden pillow is made with 5 inch blades. I used The Easy Dresden ruler by Darlene Zimmerman. Charm squares are ideal for this project. The center button is covered with a piece of fussy cut fabric. The back of the pillow is a simple envelop enclosure.

Flower Sugar Sweet Carnival Quilt: My quilt is made with 9.5 inch half square triangle blocks. Origami Square (10� squares) works nicely for the blocks. The simple 2.5 inch scrappy border is sewn in the same way as continuous binding, pieced with a diagonal seam.

Jade Prosser of Stitch Mischief Designs http://www.stitchmischief.com I have loved color as long as I can remember. To be able to play with color on a daily basis is a dream come true. As a young mother, I taught myself to quilt in 2005 but didn't get serious about it until 2013. I have entered the world of pattern design and am loving it. I am also an avid knitter - I learned as a child from my mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother. In line with that, I've recently been experimenting with dying fiber, which has been very exciting. One long-term goal is to design my own fabric collection and be able to put color to fabric the way I've been applying it to yarn. In the meantime, I am more than happy to be home with my little tribe, while sneaking away to play when I can. But best of all, I love watching my children learn and grow in a home full of the traditions of the past and the possibilities of the future.

Kristyne Czepuryk of Pretty by Hand http://prettybyhand.com Kristyne Czepuryk (pronounced "chip-R-ek", by the way) was practically born crafting. She was lucky to have a mother and aunt who were talented with a needle and thread, so in her teen years she focused her attention on sewing, honed her skills, and started a life-long obsession with fabric. She made her first quilt - an EPP Grandmother’s Flower Garden design at the age of 19 and she hasn’t stopped quilting since. She's lost count, but she’s made well over 200 quilts over the past 30 years. In 2011, as a stay-at-home mom with two little girls, she joined the inspiring blogging community because she wanted to do the same - share her work with others in the hopes of inspiring them too. Since then, she’s started a pattern company, written an embroidery book “S is for Stitch”, and is always dreaming about making pretty things.

Lisa Cox of A Spoonful of Sugar http://aspoonfulofsugardesigns.com Since childhood, Lisa Cox has loved creating using fabric, yarn and thread. She works by day as an occupational therapist and is an avid crafter at night. Lisa shares her sewing, craft, and baking projects on A Spoonful of Sugar, a blog she established in 2008 with her daughter. She recently published a collection of her sewing patterns "A Spoonful of Sugar: Sew 20 Simple Projects to Sweeten Your Surroundings Zakka Style" (Fons and Porter, 2016). While she has been sewing from a young age her introduction to quilting began just a few years ago. Rebecca Bryan of Bryan House Quilts http://bryanhousequilts.com As a fourth-generation quilter, Rebecca comes from a long line of quilters. Her lovely mother graciously taught her everything she knew about sewing and helped Rebecca make her first official quilt for her first official apartment. Rebecca has been quilting passionately ever since. Once upon a time, Rebecca taught high school, earned a masters degree, and worked in research. Back then she found her creative outlet in embroidery and quilt making.
