Difference between IMDG And IATA Training Hazmat training is intended to include those who handle hazardous materials in transporting or handling on a regular basis. There are various training sessions conducted to ensure safe and efficient handling of these hazardous materials to avoid any major accidents or mishandling. IMDG codes training is a mandatory training session required to complete by all those who work with dangerous goods at sea. IMDG stands for International Maritime Dangerous Goods. The International Maritime Organization is responsible for the safety of sea environment and its pollution control. The IMDG codes training program includes some basic procedures which every employee is supposed to be aware of. This code recognizes nine dangerous goods that are transported over the sea. The training teaches you how to prepare the documents for dangerous goods, the know-how of carrying, transporting and handling of these goods, accepting dangerous goods for transportation and other procedures. IATA training courses are provided online, and you can opt for either paid course or a demo course. The online training sessions provide knowledge on rules and regulations, laws, staff responsibilities, regulation of experimental techniques, classification and transportation aspects and the like. These programs are available in modules that provide separate learning platforms. These modules are evaluated by researchers, and they are in the supervision of administrators. If you seem to have any problem with the module, you can seek professional help from these researchers and trainers.
