Investments in healthcare technology have the potential to improve access to healthcare and public health outcomes-especially in developing nations such as the Philippines, which struggle with constrained access to healthcare and subpar public health outcomes. Expanding the usage, quality, and availability of tools such as telehealth and digital health can help pave the way for better health outcomes across the country. It also becomes important to foster an improved understanding of the linkages between health outcomes and performance and the metrics of ESG reporting. Since ESG demands that organizations take a holistic look to properly track their impact, widening the lens to account for an understand the impact of all activities becomes crucial. This session will present the government's plans pertaining to healthcare technology, and will also provide for a response from the private sector.
