L.E.A.D. is a sports-based youth development organization whose mission is to empower an at-risk generation to lead and transform their city of Atlanta by using baseball to teach Black boys how to overcome three curveballs that threaten their success in life: crime, poverty and racism. Through our year-round, Pathway2Empowerment programming, up to 350, at-risk boys, 6th-12th grade boys in Atlanta use the lessons learned on the baseball diamond to help them win at the game of life.
