ABOUT DOLCE Dolce Italian is an inviting café and restaurant, brought to life by Executive Chef Paolo Dorigato. Opened January 2013 by LDV Hospitality, Miami Herald three-star Dolce Italian is inviting, located at the Gale South Beach. Dolce Italian welcomes guests with classic handcrafted Italian cocktails at a lively bar, and cuisine that is authentic, delicious, and surprisingly affordable. Linger over a Negroni or Bellini while sharing a freshly-fired pizza from the wood-burning oven or enjoy a platter of delicious artisanal cured meats including house-made pâté. A mozzarella bar takes center stage, featuring freshly made-to-order platters, while Italian-born Chef Paolo’s menu of updated Italian classics includes perfectly made pastas like the Pappardelle alla Bolognese, brimming with braised beef, veal and pork; a rich seafood risotto loaded with shrimp, scallops and calamari, and a simply sublime Spaghetti al Pomodoro. WINNER OF “BEST NEW RESTAURANT,” BRAVO SERIES Hosted by chef and restauranteur Tom Colicchio, the series pitted 16 restaurants from New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Austin against one another with each being judged on not only the dishes they served, but on everything from décor, to hospitality, to overall concept. In the end, Dolce took home the title as well as an editorial feature in Bon Appétit, a featured spot at America’s top global food festival, Vegas Uncork’d by Bon Appétit 2015, and $100,000.
