The Minister of Labour, Industrial Relations and Employment, being satisfied that it is expedient to review the minimum wages in respect of workers governed by the above named Remuneration Regulations whereby workers are drawing less than Rs 6,500 per month, has referred the matter to the National Remuneration Board for consideration.

The Board is therefore inviting written representations from interested parties- Such representations, supported by relevant documents including financial and technical statements in connection thereto, should reach the Chairperson by 13 November 2013 at latest at the following address:
