ESKA RANGE.

01. the eska range.

The Eska Range was designed during my final year at university for my minor project. It was designed to have a modern aesthetic focus, with contrasting colours of the blonde wood & powder-coated mild steel and the ridged texture of the base panels.

Made from solid pine wood or douglas fir panels, with powder-coated mild steel and a contrasting solid wood foot, this product has a high quality feel at a more affordable price point.

Eska is a range of Scandinavian inspired furniture with a sustainable twist. The materials used have all been sourced locally to the UK to remove the need for international shipping, reducing the range environmental impact. The range was designed for university student accommodation with the idea of furnishing halls of residence with a sustainable, design driven, durable range. The range includes a stool side table, a bench coffee table, a desk console table and a clothes rail.

Mild steel components fit flush to underside of top panel and allow KD assembly of the product.

Sunken, exaggerated detail at the join of the powdercaoted metal and base to emphasise feature.

Solid pine foot contrasts powdercoated mild steel and ties in with the top panel.

Solid pine or douglas fir top panel from UK & European sources. Adds sustainability and durability.

Pill-shaped top panel blends organic and geometric shapes - a trend in the AW20 season.

Scalloped joint between mild steel parts, secured with a flush, threaded M6 allen bolt to allow KD assembly.
