Our communities have experienced a decline in recycling activities. This campaign aims to reverse that trend, benefiting everyone in the community.
By recycling more, we contribute to a sustainable economic system where waste is minimised - helping our environment
A successful recycling campaign can deliver significant social benefits, including community pride and environmental responsibility.
Minimising waste not only helps the environment but can also reduce operating costs and savings made will be reinvested into our communities for benefit of residents
Redirecting waste from incineration to reprocessing plants can open up new income opportunities which will again be reinvested for the benefit of residents.
Less waste and better recycling practices mean a healthier, cleaner environment for us all and in particular our future generations.
This is more than just a campaign; it's a chance for our community to lead by example, showing that collective action can make a substantial difference. Lichfield District Council has pledged £20k in 2023/4 to tackle diminishing recycling and support for improving our environment.
But we can’t do it alone.
We need businesses just like yours to support us in this high profile event. This is a community campaign and together we can achieve so much more.
These are ways you can get involved. Costs are at the end of the presentation.
For this you will get an advert with link to your website on our website for three years and you can use the RecycleForGood logo and campaign on any of your marketing materials for 12 months. Posters will be provided for your business and a vault of exciting digital marketing campaign collateral will be provided for you to use and your name will be present on everything that we do; including our social media posts and resident and business newsletters when talking about our Recycle for Good campaign.
For this you will get the above plus you will sponsor one of our key activities from those listed in this document. It could be an event or some printed materials.... we are open to discussion.

We have developed an interactive education game for kids (and older kids) to play and learn HOW to recycle well.
We want to take this out into schools along with school packs to support the curriculum.
