STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE 1. I have read and understand the Policies and Procedures of Ludlow Community Television (LCTV). 2. I understand that I may never use LCTV equipment to tape, edit or air program material which: Contains commercial advertising Directly or indirectly solicits goods, services, or funds Contains or promotes a lottery or gaming Contains obscene or indecent material as defined by the FCC and community standards Incites or promotes illegal activities 3. I understand that I must obtain all necessary clearances and/or releases from broadcast stations, networks, sponsors, music licensing organizations, performers, actors, or any other group or individual which may hold title or copyright to something which I have recorded or plan to use in a production before actually using that material.
4. I further understand that I assume full responsibility for any dispute arising from unauthorized use of the materials listed in section three above and agree to hold blameless in any disputes Ludlow Community Television (LCTV), the Town of Ludlow, and its employees. 5. I understand that I may be criminally liable for taping, performing and/or cablecasting any material which contains lottery or lottery information, obscenity, or which incites or promotes illegal activities. 6. Ludlow Community Television (LCTV), the Town of Ludlow, its officers nor its employees has control of program content. The producer, limited only by the FCC imposed restrictions, has absolute control over program content. 7. I agree to hold blameless in any disputes Ludlow Community Television (LCTV), the Town of Ludlow, and its employees in disputes including but not limited to, claims based on failure to comply with authorities, claims based on libel, slander, invasion of privacy or infringement or a common law or statutory copyright. 8. Ludlow Community Television (LCTV), the Town of Ludlow, its officers nor employees shall be liable for any liability, loss, damage or other injury arising out of, or caused by, any matter or material supplied or spoken by the producer which is cablecast over the channel. 9. I agree to pay the costs of repairs or replacement to any LCTV equipment made necessary by abuse, theft, and/or careless handling, while such equipment is in my possession (normal wear and tear expected). 10. False or misleading statements made in this application are grounds for forfeiture of the right of use LCTV equipment and facilities.
