New look for Pipeline. There has been much input from members regarding the Pipeline and I have attempted to take many of the suggestions to create the new Pipeline. It may not have as pretty a front cover photo though it gives us more space for information. Thank you to everyone for your input. It is much appreciated! We also want to thank Maria for jumping in and doing the Pipeline when the Club needed someone. She can now devote her time to her profession...Club accounting.

President’s Message

From the General Manager’s Desk

Dear Friends,

Dear Members,

Well it appears that Spring has sprung and we are moving right along in this new year. For those of you that have had the opportunity to visit the Club lately I hope you’re seeing and feeling the effects of the business plan as things unfold. Like any best laid plan, we have already had our share of hurdles, but we will continue to press on. I think there is definitely a palpable feeling of all the good works around the Club with both the members and staff. Hopefully you all agree. We still have a long way to go with our marketing, sales and improvement efforts, but we will continue to keep our head down, our legs active and pray that the wind stays at our back. I have a had a few members approach me with questions and concerns about the status of our plan and all I can say in this brief writing is that we are continuing to move forward with all of the actions as discussed in previous member meetings. As always, I am available to discuss any specific questions or concerns that someone may have.

Spring is upon us and it is a time of new beginnings and fresh starts. You will begin seeing new happenings at the Club along with aesthetic changes that you have all been awaiting. The flooring in the bar (soon to have a real name) will be installed by the time you receive this Pipeline and it will be a welcomed change. There has been a delay in the Red Room carpeting installation though have no fear it has been ordered. As soon as the Red Room update is completed with the carpeting, the new photos and lighting, we will be ready to show off our new look. We will be sending Save the Dates and invitations for a Member and Prospective Member Party. Not only will we be showing off the Club, we will be showing off an updated menu and announcing the new name for the bar with a ribbon cutting. Don’t forget to send your suggested names for the bar. You still have time. You will also be able to meet Rahm Fama, an Executive Chef and Food Network Segment Chef, who has been working with our kitchen staff.

Unfortunately, my work obligations have increased lately and I haven’t been able to enjoy the Club as often as I might like, but I did have the opportunity to spend some time with my daughter there for a Pub Night. It was karaoke night and she had a ball. Everyone was having a good time and it was a great night at the Club. Pub night seems to really have taken off. If you get a chance to come out on a Thursday night, bring in your family and friends. It’s sure to be a good time. If Thursdays don’t work for your schedule, fear not! The Club will now be open 5 nights a week for Happy Hour. Please see Bette or Gonzalo for the specific times and events planned. Also, Mother’s Day is fast approaching, so make your reservations early and come in and help us celebrate that special day. Thank you all for your support and see you at the Club! Dan McGrew President

Monthly Dinner Winner Congratulations to Bob Daley! Every month we select at random one lucky Equity Member to receive dinner for two in the Red Room. Please be sure to look for your name every month in the Pipeline.

Monday is no longer Monday Night Football it has become Monday Sports Night. All sports fans come on in and join us-there is always some type of sport to be watched or another member to play shuffle board, cards or board games. If you have not joined us for Taco Tuesday, you are missing out on delicious tacos by Ernie. His presentation is competitive with the Food Network Chefs. Check it out on Facebook. We occasionally have entertainment. March we had Kindred Spirit Jazz Band and they were fantastic. They will be joining us this month so check in with us. Thursday is still Live Entertainment at the Club. Rotating between Power Trip, our very popular band, and Karaoke with Robin which is also very popular. Robin has songs for everyone. Please do not miss out on this year’s Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch. Mother’s all need to be appreciated. If we do not have your email, please call the office to let us know. This way you will not miss out on any last minute entertainment opportunities and don’t forget to like us on Facebook. The entire staff and I eagerly look forward to serving you and hope to see you on a regular basis at your Club. Onward and upward, Bette Bloom
