Role Details In this role you will liaise with Customer Service, Sales and Senior Management, reporting directly to the Controller and senior Management. The Assistant Controller is responsible for the coordination of processes required for all accounting procedures in SyteLine.
Responsibilities Approve all new Customer accounts, establishing credit limits via Euler Hermes website or Dun & Bradstreet Collection of Accounts Receivable Prepare vendors cheques weekly Weekly cash flow Monthly reports to BMO and sureties Prepare & post accrual journal entries for Fixed Assets, Bonus, Commissions, Royalties, Freight, Installation, etc. monthly Analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts Prepare in-house FS Actual vs Budget Prepare various management reports Record & manage FA Registry Prepare and remit monthly Canadian taxes; HST & BC Sales Tax as well as U.S. Sales & Use taxes in various states across the U.S. Qualifications Experience in financial analysis and costing in a manufacturing environment Excellent MS Excel skills, knowledge of MRP software is required Enrolled and nearing completion of a CPA designation
