NikkiElicker
Personally, Mrs. Nikki Elicker “grew up in southcentral Pennsylvania, in the very small town of Wellsville I continued my education at Bloomsburg University, and graduated with a liberal arts degree in Sociology My husband's job took us to Indiana for three years We absolutely loved that area, but the harsh winters had us dreaming of the beach life. After some research, we found Murrells Inlet, and the wonderful educational opportunities at Lowcountry Prep. In 2019, Collin joined Mrs Livingston's first grade class, and Bella joined the 6th grade class With sincere love and appreciation, we must say, "see you later" to our wonderful school community as we journey back to Indiana next month Thank you to every teacher, staff member, parent, and student that has welcomed us and been part of this coastal living dream. We will miss you!!”
Physical Education TEACHER SPOTLIGHT
Professionally, Coach Nikki has been “in education for six years I have been blessed to be at Lowcountry as the PE teacher for the past two years, and girls' volleyball coach for the past three seasons.” When asked what her favorite thing about Lowcountry is, she exclaims, “the students and the parents The students are always so excited for class, giving their full effort and willing to try to new skills/ games They offer new ideas, give loving hugs, and want to fill me in on all their hobbies outside of school! The parents have been so kind and generous. With our Class Captain program, parents have set work and obligations aside to join their child in class, often bravely dodgeball! When I asked for help on Field Day, parents graciously signed up and we had an awesome day that couldn't have been achieved without their help Thank you!”
Classroom at a Glance
Outside of school, Coach Nikki says, she “loves spending weekends watching Collin play in soccer tournaments, shopping trips and beach time with Bella, or relaxing with my husband, Lance ”
“My passion for daily movement is strong and I love going to the gym!”
Middle School: We have been enjoying time outside, finding lower school friends and fin friends to connect and play with. It's been awesome to see how the older students play and encourage the younger students, strengthening our school community!
Did You Know?
I worked at Harley-Davidson for three summers as a college student! If you have a 2002-2004 Harley Road King, Softail, or Fat Boy, I probably did some sheet metal work or bumper/fender detailing on your bike!
