It provides the unique opportunity to collaborate with resident Principal Investigators in core research areas, bringing together top veterinary and human medical science researchers to advance the ‘One Health’ approach to accelerate the development of new vaccines and cell therapies.

LBIC & RVC SERVICES FOR ALL No matter where you are located, LBIC clients benefit from a unique laboratory service provision via access to our expert Lab Technicians. Our Lab Technicians provide sterilisation suite and waste management services – freeing up client team resource for other activities. It also saves capital investment in kit and valuable laboratory space which would otherwise be taken up housing it. In addition, because we are owned by the RVC, our clients get access to RVC’s scientific facilities, research and contract research services.

Sterilisation suite services – autoclave and glass wash items collected, sterilised and returned to client laboratory.

Waste management, collected from client laboratory, including domestic, clinical and specialist waste. All licences are dealt with

by LBIC. Piped gas provision to laboratories; gases fully managed by LBIC. Access to a range of shared laboratory equipment at a competitive cost, including confocal microscopy, flow cytometry and mass spectrometry.
