The Sale will be under the auspices of the Blackface Sheep Breeders Association.

All sheep will be sold in Guineas and the guinea will go to the Association.

In Lamb Females and Ewe Hoggs are eligible to be offered for sale.

All sheep, apart from Ewe Hoggs to be sold guaranteed in lamb, the purchaser has a 21 day warranty, if a breach of warrant is proved it must be accompanied by a veterinary surgeon’s certificate.

All sheep to be sold are guaranteed correct in the mouth and udder.

Sheep must be individually tagged in line with the current tagging and movement legislation.

A substitute will be allowed for any sheep that is unable to be sold.

Vendors will be responsible for the insurance of their stock.

Movement regulations – Purchasers and vendors must conform to the relevant movement rules at the time of sale.

All movement licenses are to be arranged directly between the buyer and seller. L&S will not process any movements.

Sire: Gass Bulletin (half share purchased privately) Dam: £15,000 Midlock £10,000 Loughash Scanned Twins "Numero Uno" this absolute topper of a stock ewe kicks off the online sale with some style. She is a quality ewe through and through and one that's going to be missed from the Lurg flock. My intention this year with all that's been going on, was to put forward something a wee bit special and hopefully there will be some genuine breeders out there that will want to take her home. She's by Gass Bulletin, a lamb that the Kay family kindly agreed to sell a half share of privately and one of the tups in the last few years that's added real quality to the top end of our breeding females. She's a super correct ewe, with great hair and very pure skin, an example of a right good coat. This girl in my mind is the best inlamb ewe I've put forward to auction to date and genuinely will be sad to see her go but it will be good to think that she may prove to be a sound investment to who ever purchases her from us.She's been sold scanned carrying twins to £10,000 Loughash but sorry to say she's a scrapie type 3 which makes her unsuitable for export. I hope that Lawrie and Symington's online sale goes well and as always, sheep will tend to get dearer as the opportunities become less, so please be confident to dig deep on this first entry because it could be a while before we have another of this standing.

Her sire was a favourite son of £50,000 Pole, who was retained for three years breeding, before being sold privately. Sold carrying twins to £18,000 Elmscleugh, a shearling by £26,000 Dalchirla (£22,000 Lurg) bought at Dalmally in partnership with Dalchirla. She's a right stylish girl, with plenty breed character. Unfortunately, this lady is not suitable for export as she's a category 3 in the scrapie but a mighty fine addition to any flock this side of the Irish Sea.
