HEALTHY TOGETHER

Dear friends,
We are honored to celebrate another incredible year with you and recognize all that you’ve made possible for our community hospital. Your gifts make a real difference to our families, friends and neighbors. Over the past year, your contributions have gone to work in innovative and meaningful ways, including:
• Scholarships for 60 of our employees and students in our community to continue their healthcare education.
• Assisting more than 560 patients with expenses for necessary medications, durable medical equipment, nutritional needs and more post discharge from the hospital.
• Technology investments like the permanent PET/CT scanner — often only seen in far larger cities.
• And of course, our brand new, expanded Cancer Center, which will truly reflect the high quality of care our patients receive there.
These gifts are representative of a new record amount of funds transferred in 2024 to LMH Health — more than $9 million total in support. Healthy Together is exactly what happens at the intersection of a philanthropic community and outstanding healthcare. It also illustrates how much you value exceptional healthcare, close to home.
Your generosity is at work every day at LMH Health, and it makes a remarkable difference to those who receive — and deliver — care.
Thank you for all you make possible.

The LMH Health Cancer Center expansion initiative will be complete early this summer. Renovations center on creating an environment that cultivates healing and focuses on a patient-first experience, and new elements include a family lounge, healing garden, expanded waiting room, and increased natural light. We hope you’ll join us for a community-wide open house to celebrate this remarkable achievement. Watch our traditional and social media outlets for updates.
Donors provided more than $7.2 million in philanthropic support for the project, making possible a healing environment that reflects the exceptional quality of care available right here at home.

Innovative technology transforms healthcare and saves lives. Thanks to gifts from donors and corporate partners — including support raised through the Hearts of Gold Gala and the Penny Jones Golf Tournament—the LMH Health Foundation provided more than $1.25 million to acquire a permanent PET/CT scanner at LMH Health this year.
Images from a PET/CT scanner allow for precise diagnosis and expanded treatment insight for oncology and cardiology patients. LMH Health plans to expand testing to include prostate cancer and certain neurological conditions and diseases as well.
Beautifully designed spaces — complemented by art, natural light and even fresh air — are shown to improve stress, lessen pain and lead to more positive health outcomes. The rooftop garden at LMH Health’s main campus, supported by generous gifts from the Penny and Hedges families, provides access to art and sunshine for patients, families and staff.
Renovations and improvements to clinics in the Anderson Health Plaza, made possible by a $10 million gift commitment from Dana Anderson and his late wife, Sue, offers expanded clinical space for gastroenterology, surgery and urology.
Donors like you make great things happen at LMH Health — including these projects you made possible in 2024 with your gifts:
Donors to LMH Health Foundation give generously and thoughtfully to support exceptional healthcare close to home for family, friends, neighbors and future generations.
The Help & Healing Fund is one important way that donors provide a tremendous assist in this work. Gifts to this fund help patients in need with their expenses for medications, medical equipment, behavioral healthcare, food, transportation, legal support and other things that are vitally important to healing and recovery after a hospital stay.
And when we say every gift matters, we truly mean it. The Foundation received a special delivery of children’s books and teddy bears from Lucy and Crosby Wilson and their parents. These gifts were shared with our youngest Emergency Department patients, creating a bright spot when it was needed most. Every day, donors come together to ensure that our patients experience an ever-increasing quality of care, no matter their ability to pay.
When we say every gift matters, we truly mean it. Thank you.
