Loaded Ceramic stoneware, 22 x 13 ½ x 14 ½”, 2015 $1,400.00 Jenny Doores grew up in San Francisco and graduated from Sarah Lawrence. She studied ceramics at the Corcoran in D.C. and received a MFA in Ceramics and Sculpture from the Boston Museum School. She and Michael Zanfagna then created a successful ceramics collectibles company for which she was designer, CLAY ART, 1976-2006. Jenny and her husband Fred Doores moved to Lawrence in 2012. Being part of the LAC community has given Jenny the opportunity to teach sculpture, as well as the time, space, and encouragement to finally make art for its own sake—a continual source of joy. Her sculptures usually involve anatomy and a clear-cut message.
