FOREVER FAVOURITE The July issue of Style at Home has not left my grasp since its arrival! You had me at my forever favourite colour palette of blue and white, which elegantly graces the cover. The homeowners of BannockBurn, the historical home on Ontario’s Maitland River, brought elegance and updated sophistication to a property that is almost as ‘mature’ as Canada. It’s brilliant!
I just loved the July issue, in particular the article “How Canadian Are You?” I’m a hobby watercolour artist and started doing a series of paintings of laundry on the clothesline after first doing one for my girlfriend’s new laundry room. I had the idea to do one of iconic Canadian laundry to celebrate the sesquicentennial! P.S. Of course I scored “Total Hoser”!
