Spaghetti and Tomatoes Robinson Chase Moore rcmoore@lacademy.edu Prep time: 5 minutes Cook time: 30 minutes Serves 2-3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children INGREDIENTS • 16 oz. can of stewed tomatoes • Angel hair pasta • Extra sharp cheddar (grated) INSTRUCTIONS 1. Boil as instructed on the box of pasta. 2. Open the can of tomatoes and heat in a small saucepan. 3. Once water boils, add pasta and monitor for al dente texture (approximately 5 minutes). Drain and rinse pasta and toss with olive oil. 4. Grate cheese in a small bowl. 5. Serve in bowls with the stewed tomatoes on top of the pasta and the cheese on top. “This recipe, with a T-bone and long-neck Budweiser, was the first meal I made for Laura in 1983 in my apartment in Spaulding Hall.
