Thinking is an ability that everyone has. It can be said that thinking is the first step of a series that occurs in the human head to understand something, find a solution and then determine a decision before taking any action in response to the conditions. In short, thinking is a process of cultivating information from one's mind, which will then be followed by action. There are many forms of thinking ability, one of which is thinking creatively. Creative thinking is the ability to look at an idea or a condition and find new alternatives that can be used to solve a problem that previously existed. Meanwhile, creativity is the ability to provide new ideas and apply them in problem-solving. Creativity includes both aptitude traits, such as fluency, flexibility, and originality in thinking, and non-aptitude traits, such as curiosity and always wanting to seek new experiences.1 Everyone is born with creativity, but not everyone can think creatively the same way.

In other words, everyone's level of creativity is different from one another. The level of creativity can be unique to a person. Creativity reflects the ability of a thinker that is different from others and the ability to provide various alternative answers. Everyone has creativity with different levels, some are "very" creative, and some are "just." So an effort to optimize the level of creativity is necessary because creativity is needed in every aspect of life, including the economic aspect. This causes creativity and the economy will always go hand in hand so that various efforts in advancing the economy cannot be separated from the creative industry. Therefore, creativity is a fundamental ability that is very important in today's global economic era. Innovative ideas to advance the economy are not uncommon.

Transformation in the mindset that previously maintained many traditional values in carrying out economic activities can slowly be combined with new values that are emerging today.

The application of the creative economy began to emerge in every corner of the region. The idea of a creative economy emphasizes ideas and knowledge of human resources as an essential factor of production to intensify information and creativity. Almost everyone involved in economics also began to apply this idea. The growth of the creative economy sector is around 5.76%, where the figure shows the growth of the creative economy sector is above the growth of the electricity, gas and clean water, mining and quarrying, livestock,

forestry and fishery, as well as services and processing industries.2 This percentage shows the importance of creativity in pursuing economic transformation.

Of course, there are many challenges in maximizing economic transformation, especially in Indonesia. Even if the society begins to adapt to the existing changes with many conventional ways that have become a tradition to drive the wheels of the economy in Indonesia, the economic transformation will be a challenge, a transformation on a massive scale. This change can begin with applying a traditional mindset that emphasizes economic dependence on the availability of natural resources to become competitive in modern manufacturing and services. The application of this mindset cannot be repeated once or twice but must be done continuously. To realize the ideals of prosperity for Indonesia, selecting the proper generation as a target for applying a modern mindset to support economic transformation is an important thing to do that cannot be ruled out. The application of this mindset must be maximized for the generation that has a productive working age of 15 - 64 years old so that this economic transformation can be achieved in the targeted year and to ensure that this continues, it is necessary to apply it to the younger generation even though it is not yet included in the productive working age group. This can be seen as an important strategic step for the younger generation because the younger generation has a higher level of creativity than the older generation. On the other hand, this must be done with precise methods and boundaries so that the actualization can be directed according to the expected target.

The younger generation really can build and improve the Indonesian economy.3 The Indonesian population is dominated by Generation Z at ages 8 - 23 years, with a percentage of 27.94% of the total population who have a high level of digital adoption and understanding in the financial sector.4 The younger generation has many advantages in the process of economic transformation. The ability to master increasingly sophisticated technology makes it easy for the younger generation to access new and factual information. Of course, this advantage must get full support so that our young generation has the strength to compete not 2

only on a national scale but also on a global scale. With a high level of creativity, the ability to access new and factual information very easily, and also the ability to adapt quickly, the younger generation can enter sectors that are more complex in the concept of the creative economy. Among other sectors in the creative economy concept such as fashion, art, culinary, product design, online games, animated films, and others. 5In the particular sectors mentioned earlier, the younger generation can also maximize their potential in the financial technology sector by focusing on the marketplace section to increase the percentage of product or service marketing from particular sectors that are part of the creative economy. This can be done by making innovations on e-commerce platforms that use digital payment systems. For example, in the payment section for products and services on existing e-commerce platforms, it is not uncommon to find people that often choose to use conventional payment methods instead of trying to use e-wallet technology to facilitate buying and selling activities. This innovation can be a form of optimization of e-commerce and financial technology. In addition, one form of utilization of financial technology by the younger generation that can be optimized lies in the digital payment system and equity crowdfunding. This is done by conducting massive fundraising activities but digitally using social media to reach many targets from every level of society. The proceeds from fundraising that have been collected can be used as a form of investment to advance economic development or can be donated as a form of social action carried out by utilizing the maximum potential of the technology itself. Of course, the application of creative economic ideas combined with good use of financial technology will generate the interest of investors, even if it is possible to open new investment areas for investors to fund inventors who are often also hampered by budget problems. Again, this shows that there is promising potential for economic transformation.

In conclusion, creativity is a way of thinking that can become an identity for a person. Creativity is a fundamental value needed in every aspect of life, especially the economic aspect. In the process of economic transformation on a national and global scale, creativity becomes an essential supporting aspect. The application of creative economic ideas has also begun to be applied by all parties in the financial world, especially the younger generation. Innovative and creative ideas also emerge to advance the economy. Of course, with a high level of creativity, rapid adaptability, and high mastery of technology, the younger generation must be able to become at the forefront in the process of economic transformation.

Creativity and innovation are the main aspects for the younger generation to maximize the process of economic transformation and win a massive global economic competition.

Therefore, optimizing creativity as a fundamental form of economic transformation is an urgent matter. Even though it has become an urgent matter, the need for methods, stages, and clear boundaries in the process of increasing creativity itself. Because if it is not taken through precise methods, stages, and boundaries, the actions taken as a response to an idea or condition will lead to the wrong steps, which will result in new problems that require more time, energy, and effort to find a new solution to solve this problem. Of course, with the proper support and steps with careful planning and directed and precise methods, the younger generation can master the production process to dominate the market in this global economic era. The need for active involvement from every level of society, government institutions, educational institutions, social groups, and families to realize that this is urgent and immediate to achieve ideal social welfare, especially in the economic field. Once again, as stated before, these ideas will not happen in just a short period. It takes time, energy, thought, and even a lot of money to realize the ideal economic transformation. The efforts being made require a significant commitment and continuous discipline to achieve this massive change.

In his book, Mark Manson says, "To be really great at something, you have to dedicate a lot of energy to something."
