Chili Supper Benefit
A chili supper and cake benefit will be for Brandy held Friesenborg on Sunday, September 27, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the 1st Christian Church Family Life Center in Golden City. Donations only. Tickets are being sold for a raffle of items donated by local businesses. The drawing will be held after the 5K Benefit on October 10th.

Greenfield Football Homecoming Queen Hopefuls By Cletis McConnell Vedette Reporter
The Greenfield Wildcats will celebrate their annual football homecoming on Friday evening, September 25, 2015, as they play host to the Nodaway Mustangs. Game time is 7 p.m. Highlighting the evening will be the crowning of the new 2015 homecoming queen at 6:30 p.m. This year’s princesses and queen candidates are: front row: Princesses, freshman, Miss Lauren Jones; sophomore, Miss Payton Trask; junior, Miss Abi Solis. Back row: Queen candidates, seniors: Miss Tori Kirsch, Miss Katie Marshall and Miss Kelly Morrow. Homecoming festivities began Monday as the Wildcats gear up to “Tame the ‘Stangs!” with spirit days. A dance will follow the game for all students in the Junior High Cafeteria from 10 p.m. to 12 midnight. Admission to the dance is free and refreshments will be provided.

The Dade County OACAC Neighborhood Center will be moving to 2 North Main Street in Green- Queen Dalyn Hadlock field (the old bank building). We will be closed on Monday, September 28th and Tuesday, September 29th, for the move. The office will reopen for business on Wednesday, September 30th. OACAC will continue to provide all services as usual in our new location!! Our phone system may experience an outage during transfer to the new location.
