Greenfield Christmas Parade
Greenfield Christmas Parade has been scheduled for December 5th, at 11:00 a.m. The theme this year is Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree. Prizes for top floats will be awarded. At 10:30 on the square you may receive hot chocolate, free hats and gloves for the children. This event is sponsored by the Greenfield Chamber of Commerce.
Dade County Historical Society at the Greenfield Christmas Parade
The Dade County Historical Society would like to invite everyone to stop by the Gazebo on the south west corner of the square before the Greenfield Christmas Parade. Beginning at about 10:00 AM, the “Back Porch Players” will celebrate the Holiday Season in song. After the parade, everyone is invited to join us at the Hulston Mill Park for more seasonal singing by the “Back Porch Players” from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. There will be refreshments of cookies, hot chocolate and coffee. Mark your calendars now! - December 5th, 10:00 AM and, 1:00-3:00 PM. Sign Up Begins For Dade County Christmas Project
The Men’s Civic Club and OACAC Dade County Neighborhood Center are partnering for the annual Christmas Project again this year. OACAC will pre-register families who wish to participate. Sign-ups begin November 1st and will end December 14th. Pre-registration is required. Families must live in Dade County and income guidelines do apply. It is important to get families scheduled as early as possible for planning purposes. Please call the OACAC office at 417-6372701 for any questions or to schedule an appointment to start the registration process.

An old fashioned pie supper was held at the American Legion Building in Everton on Saturday evening, November 14, with everyone having a great time. A big thank you to all those who donated pies and prizes for this event. Everyone who bought a pie or piece of pie received a prize. The highest pie went for $120. A large crowd gathered at the Dade County Senior Center in Greenfield on Saturday evening, November 7, at 5:30 p.m. for fun, food and great entertainment. The menu included hot dogs, chili, chili dogs, chips, desserts and drinks. The Christian

November 4, 2015. Fourteen students and two professors, Josh Franks and Donn Russell, toured the facility and were impressed with the capabilities of what actu-
