Congratulations, seniors and a great big welcome to everyone attending our third annual LAUSD BD7 College Signing Day!

We are so excited to find out which colleges, universities and career pathways our graduating seniors are committing to as they cross the stage today. We are equally excited for our PK11th grade students and families to explore the 50+ partners and games at our resource fair, featuring over 20 colleges and universities and dozens of student support services, government resources, nonprofit partners, and so much fun, including last year ’ s biggest hits – our photobooths!

I am personally so inspired by our students who are taking both small steps and giant leaps to pursue their academic dreams. Whether it’s talking to their first college recruiter today or announcing a cross-country move to college, our students are leading the way for their personal success and the future of Los Angeles.

Greetings and a warm welcome to our students, families and school communities attending Board District 7’s College Signing Day. This is a huge day celebrating our graduating seniors – the true academic stars – who are successfully transitioning into colleges. We are proud of you.

Los Angeles Unified has a rich legacy of students who attended our schools, walked through our halls, sat in our classrooms, laughed with their peers, cried with our teachers and changed the world. I believe that each and every one of you is capable of making a lasting and positive impact in everything you do, and we are here to help you realize your full potential

¡Felicitaciones, estudiantes del 12º grado y una gran bienvenida a todos a nuestro tercer anual del Día de Inscripción Universitaria de BD7 de LAUSD!

Estamos muy emocionados de descubrir a qué colegios, universidades y trayectorias profesionales se comprometerán nuestros graduados de 12º grado al subir al escenario el día de hoy. Estamos igualmente entusiasmados de que nuestros estudiantes de PK a 11º grado y sus familias exploren los más de 50 socios y juegos en nuestra feria de recursos, con más de 20 colegios y universidades, y docenas de servicios de apoyo a los estudiantes, recursos gubernamentales, socios sin fines de lucro, y mucha diversión, incluyendo los mayores éxitos del año pasado - ¡nuestras cabinas fotográficas!

Personalmente estoy muy inspirada por nuestros estudiantes que están dando pequeños pasos y saltos gigantes para emprender sus sueños académicos. Ya sea hablando con su primer reclutador universitario hoy o anunciando que se mudarán al otro lado del país para ir a la universidad, nuestros estudiantes están liderando el camino para su éxito personal y el futuro de Los Ángeles.

Saludos y una bienvenida a nuestros estudiantes, familias y comunidades escolares que asistan al Día de la Inscripción Universitaria del Distrito 7 de la Junta de Educación. Este es un gran día para celebrar a nuestros estudiantes del 12º grado que están próximos a graduarse – las verdaderas estrellas académicas – que están haciendo la transición con éxito a las universidades Estamos orgullosos de ustedes

El Distrito Unificado de Los Ángeles tiene un amplio legado de estudiantes que asistieron a nuestras escuelas, caminaron por nuestros pasillos, se sentaron en nuestras aulas, rieron con sus compañeros, lloraron con nuestros maestros y cambiaron el mundo. Creo que todos y cada uno de ustedes son capaces de crear un impacto duradero y positivo en todo lo que hacen, y estamos aquí para ayudarles a llegar a su máximo potencial.

Ustedes ya han logrado tanto Lo que el día de hoy les expreso es que lo imposible puede convertirse en algo posible si creen, si tienen un plan, si tienen las habilidades adecuadas, y si tienen la voluntad adecuada.

Saludos estudiantes y familias del Distrito 7 de la Junta de Educación, El día de hoy estamos aquí para celebrar los increíbles logros de la Clase del 2023. Nuestros estudiantes han mostrado una gran resiliencia en su trayectoria hacia el éxito postsecundario. Al tomar la decisión de elegir su colegio, universidad y carreras del futuro, los felicito por su dedicación y ética de trabajo que conduce a las posibilidades de un futuro brillante.

Como Superintendente de la Región Sur, estoy muy orgulloso de haber prestado mis servicios junto con sus maestros, consejeros, administradores, padres y todos los que fueron fundamentales en su trayectoria. La orientación proporcionada por estas extraordinarias personas hace posible que sueñen a lo grande, defiendan con determinación y presten servicios a nuestras comunidades de forma que nos hagan mejores como sociedad.
