Rebranding project for client Analog the Room, who work in analog photography.

I designed a logo, supergraphics for external plus internal views, and merch to be sold.

03 Analog the Room

Redesigned Logo

I used the shape of a room to portray this part of the business name, and gave the impression of an open door to be friendly. The typeface creates a retro feel which analog provides.

04 Analog the Room

Supergraphics

I researched analog and decided to go with a retro 70s vibe, which punchy typefaces and contrasting colours to provide vibrancy for this stores industrial setting.

Supergraphics

I used personal touches such as their dog and their sustainability ethos to tailor make the designs.

I used my supergraphics and logo to design tote bags to be sold in store, created with Photoshop mockups to show the client.

For this group brief we were asked to design a brand, with the visuals created through experiments. Outcomes included logo, visuals, and mockups of hotel items.

Disobedient Objects

This project involved taking an everyday object and making it become disobedient.

I designed a baby bottle evolution infographic and poster showing how it’s now disobedient.

Infographic

After multiple sketches and versions, my final infographic outcome was created in Adobe Illustrator, using milky blobs to give the evolution of the baby bottle.

Diagram of Disobedient Use

I used the horror movie theme to create this diagram of disobedient use by way of a poster, mimicking the typography and tone to deliver the message of scariness.

I designed a typographic retelling of Daphne Du Maurier’s 1930s novel Rebecca, which I am entering into the ISTD competition 2023.

Goodnight, Your Majesty

Goodnight,

Your Majesty 25

I created an exhibition about the Queen’s death; Goodnight, Your Majesty - for my final uni project with research paper. I designed an exhibition proposal brochure with a logo, wayfinding, illustrations, 3D renders, merch, mock-ups, and posters.

Sketches

After part one of my report, I began sketching the exhibition with areas for different interactions of grief in parasocial relationships to help heal and reflect on Her Majesty’s death.

26 Goodnight, Your Majesty

Logo Development

I sketched and developed many versions of the logo, experimented with different typefaces and colour ways. I chose a typeface with many weights to repesent the different people in parasocial relationships.

27 Goodnight, Your Majesty

This is the map of the exhibition, including each space passed through by visitors.

The fading of weights help communicating the goodbye in a heartfelt way.

Many weights symbolise the individuals having parasocial relationships with the Queen and coming together. Cantoria MT

Typeface Choice

The typeface I have chosen is Cantoria MT Std, which is a slab serif typeface by Ron Carpenter in 1986 with stone cut letters. It has a personal and friendly feel which lends itself to the subject without being too serious.

The layout resembles a personal letter to a loved one.

The tittle above letters i and j resemble jewels from the crown.

Slab serifs resemble chiselling of gravestones and royal stone architectural elements within royal homes.

I designed an interactive PDF brochure with hyperlinks for potential investors to be able to see illustrations, renders, merch, mock-ups and posters in one document.
