LAKE BUENA VISTA, FLA. (August 29, 2011) – Today Walt Disney Parks and Resorts officially announced the completed redesign of DisneyTravelAgents.com, an online portal dedicated to the travel agent community. The enhanced website debuts as Disney expands its worldwide portfolio of vacation destinations with the opening of Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, Ko Olina, Hawai'i. DisneyTravelAgents.com provides the latest information about Disney products, offers, itineraries, excursions, photography and news, with a full range of customization, depending on the content and features most important to the agent. With an even wider array of agent-specific resources, agents will be able to get the answers to their client's questions all in one place. New communication tools include a Disney Destinations Travel Blog, where Disney experts will share the latest happenings across Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, exclusively for the agent community. Updated frequently, the portal will also include a live feed to the Disney Parks Blog, Disney Parks' communication gateway. The site has been redesigned from top to bottom, making it more convenient than ever for agents to receive pertinent, timely and relevant information. A new dashboard allows agents to learn about the latest changes or offerings made since their last visit to the portal, which can also be disseminated in real time via email or RSS feed. User-friendly innovations will save time and "clicks" for any task, from accessing marketing tools and completing training, to checking updated park hours and planning every aspect of a client's magical vacation. The website's redesign incorporates feedback received directly from travel agents, reinforcing Disney's commitment to providing the travel community with the latest tools and resources in order to serve their clients as true Disney vacation experts. Authorized travel agents are encouraged to visit DisneyTravelAgents.com to learn about the new and enhanced features at their fingertips, as well as to begin customizing their Disney travel portal. !
