Hi my name is Lauraine Ramadan. I am a hard working and driven Interior Design student who is always looking to broaden my skillset through manual and digital methods. I have always had a passion for anything that allowed me to utilize my creativity. I graduated with a degree in Social Science in 2019 and spontaneously decided to pursue interior design as it was something I always thought I would enjoy. Now I am extremely happy with the big step I took and cannot wait for what the future holds for me and my career.

Tokyo, Japan
Narisawa is a traditional Japanese restaurant that embodies the diversity of country. The concept was inspired by the traditional art of Kintsugi and Raku pottery which embraces the imperfection and find beauty in the broken.
Tokyo, Japan
Yakumo Saryo is a Japanese pop-up restaurant that is built out of 2 large shipping containers. The design is a reflection of the juxtaposition between the traditional lifestyle of Japanese culture, and the continuous progression of technological advancements. We find harmony in the void between the two contrasting elements which gives Tokyo, Japan its unique appeal.
Georgian Bay, Ontario
The site is located within the Township of the Archipelago on Georgian Bay, Ontario. The 1400 s.f. cottage utilizes the land and work around the natural elements present. The rocky site offers views to the water to the South and different trees including spruce, ash, and birch to the East and West. The cottage is designed as summer home for the clients to retreat to with family.

This Chanel boutique resides in the distillery district and is considered a heritage location. The design concept revolves around Chanel's symbol; the Camelia flower. The organic symmetry of the Camelia flower translates into the luxury space to create structure and flow in the store for customers. Using the concept words of Layering and Symmetry, I was able to create a luxury space that represented the brand.

The design of the dental clinic follows the principles of alignment. The balance of architectural form, colour, and space planning. Along with it being a visual balance, alignment is also about cohesion and how pieces fit together perfectly. This aligns to the approach that the dentistry industry has with taking pride in ensuring patients smile with properly positioned and cleaned teeth. Keeping these principles in mind will result in a patient-centric design focused on creating an overall sense of wellness for staff, clients, and visitors.
