The 70s BBC2, 9pm Historian Dominic Sandbrook takes a nostalgic look at the ‘70s, the decade that shaped our society from the remnants of post-war Britain. It was a time of excitement as many experienced the thrill of getting on the property ladder and having their own money, while conflicts over Europe and the economy loomed.
Our Crime BBC3, 9pm This documentary shows the effects of technology on society through the lens of youth crime. There’s no forced connection made, but it does look at how young people are oblivious to the ubiquitous nature of cameras capturing our every move. So much so that they record their own misdeeds themselves.
