2024-25 LOUISIANA TECH ANNUAL REPORT

Welcome to the 2024-25 Louisiana Tech Athletics annual report. This publication is designed to be a source of information, education and most of all, pride. Our goal with the annual report is provide an opportunity to showcase the exciting things happening with your athletics department. We sincerely hope that you enjoy and find this document to be as beneficial as we do.
As the landscape of college athletics continues to evolve, we continue to refine our operational approach while maintaining our core ideology. Recently, we launched our departmental vision and values, and our currently working on codifying our operational approach through adopted departmental standards of behavior. Our vision statement and core values were adopted through a series of inclusive conversations, led by our strategic task force team. Our goal was to emphasize people, purpose, and progress to help chart the course and future for LA Tech Athletics.
“Serving people on a purpose-driven path to advance the Louisiana Tech Athletics brand.”
This vision reflects Louisiana Tech Athletics’ unwavering commitment to intentional service of people — from student-athletes and coaches to alumni, fans, and the broader community – and long-term brand growth rooted in shared values. It reflects who we are and where we are headed. It is a commitment to serve, compete, and grow — together — in ways that strengthen not only our brand but also our people and purpose.
Supporting this vision are five core CHAMP Values that guide daily actions and long-term goals:
• Connection – Building trust and relationships
• Charge – Impact and attack the moment
• Character – Consistency of positive habits
• Community – Past, present & future, together
• Competition – Be your best, expect our best
These values serve as a guide for the department’s approach to leadership, development, engagement, and performance ensuring every action taken reflects a collective set of behavioral standards.
On the competition surface, we were able to qualify six teams or individuals for postseason championships (Football, Women’s Basketball, Bowling and qualifiers in Golf and Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field), six CUSA superlative awards across five sports, 44 All-CUSA selections, and 12 individual program records were broken. In the classroom our student-athletes achieved a a 3.267 cumulative departmental GPA (the highest ever record for an academic year), had 220 CUSA Commissioner’s Honor Roll recipients, 63 CUSA academic medalists, 634 AD Honor Roll recipients over the three quarters with 186 4.00 GPAs), and, most importantly, 51 student-athletes earned their respective degree.
But I can tell you, without a doubt, we could not and would not have been as successful without the wonderful support and generosity of all of you. Your continued presence and support fuels the very efforts that our student-athletes, coaches and staff make every day. They are constantly working to learn, grow and make all of you proud to wear the red and loyal blue. From purchasing season tickets, to becoming an LTAC member, or just wearing your loyal blue with pride, your support is critically important to our success!
While we may have had many accomplishments, we will not rest on those. We still have work to do and a vision to chase. I am confident though, that because of our great student-athletes, dedicated coaches and staff, and loyal supporters, the best days are yet to come!
Go Dogs and Lady Techsters!
