DESIGN I
THIS PROJECT WAS SPLIT INTO 4 PHASES. PHASE 1 WAS TO MEASURE DIFFERENT PARTS OF OUR BODY, SCALE THE MEASUREMENT DOWN AND CREATE A SHAPE THAT WOULD LATER ALLOW US TO WORK WITH FOR THE CONTINUING PHASES.
SECOND PHASE WAS TO USE OUR FIRST LINE SHAPE AND CREAT A SECOND SHAPE BY TURNING CLOCK
WISE, DIFFERENT SCALE, AND DIFFERENT LINE WEIGHT
PHASE 3 CONSISTED OF USING OUR SECOND PHASE DRAWING AND TRANSFORMING IT INTO A 3D PIECE WHILE USING DIFFERENT HIGHT SCALE AND MATERIAL THICKNESS
FINAL PHASE WAS TO CREATE A SECOND 3D OBJECT USING PLEXI GLASS AND STRING.
PROJECT WAS A 3 PHASE PROJECT. PROJECT WAS AIMED TO CREATE A BASE IMAGE ON PHOTOSHOP USING 3-5 PICTURES OF THE EXTERIOR OR INTERIOR OF THE ARCHETECTURE BUILDING.
ONCE OUR IMAGE WAS CREATED WE THEN WERE REQUIRED TO CREATE THREE SCHEMAS (ORTHOGINAL, TENSION, AND ARCHITECTONIC.)
FOR THE FINAL PHASE WE WERE REQUIRED FABRICATE FINAL IMAGE BY LAZER CUTTING 3 LAYERS WITH MATERIALS OF OUR CHOICE TO SHOW OFF OUR THREE SCHEMAS. (PLEXI GLASS & MDF)
GRAPHICS II
Project aims to creat a tree house based on a Pritzker Prize Architect of choice (Diebedo Francis Kere). The project was to fit the clients request of a “small home” 80 sq/ft each room, with a small book shelf and table. Presentation board was required to have fabricated model of MDF laser cut in 4-6 layers.
Project was to create a inovation center of choice that would aim to help the community. This project aimed to create a welcoming and supportive environment that prioritizes maternal health and provides resources and services to help women manage their mental health. Through our project, we aim to offer safe and comfortable living spaces and access to comprehensive healthcare services, educational classes, counseling, and support groups. Additionally, we established an innovation center designed to develop and implement new strategies for maternal mental health support. These resources allow mothers to focus on their well-being and that of their children. Our goal is to break down the stigma surrounding maternal mental health and create a space where women feel understood, supported, and empowered to seek help for themselves and their families. Project includes housing apartments for women andchildren, Teen center, Day Care, Nursing rooms, Auditorium, Library, Womens Therapy, Learning Center, and SITE ANALYSIS
Project focuses on promoting right-to-shelter concepts while actively working to reduce hostile architecture. Project requires the creation of a flexible “in-between” program that serves as a mixed-use space, adaptable to various needs. This innovative space is designed to function as a storefront, an apartment unit, a temporary shelter from harsh weather, or an of space, depending on the immediate requirements of its users. As working and housing conditions continue to evolve, so will this double-skinned envelope system, ensuring it remains responsive.
