I was delighted to appoint Jon to the position of Managing Director at the beginning of this year, which enabled me to step into the position of Group CEO. It’s certainly not a goodbye from me but an opportunity to focus on innovation, efficiency strategies and our customer-first-vision - because together, we can accomplish great things!

CHOBHAM MANOR

Located within the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Chobham Manor provides over 880 dwellings in a mixed-use masterplan, from 1-bed apartments to 5-bed townhouses, including communal areas, landscaping and street lighting. We are extremely proud to have worked on every single phase.

STORTFORD FIELDS

Stortford Fields is a development of large, beautiful family homes, in the heart of the historic market town of Bishop’s Stortford.

At Bishops Stortford we have now completed over 250 homes over a five-year period, across eight separate phases, including private homes and homes delivered for our Affordable Housing Partners, Home Group and L & G Affordable Housing. Laser and their operational management team have provided a consistent, well trained, and flexible workforce who work very closely with our Site Management Team to deliver high quality homes and at times to challenging delivery programmes. DAME ALICE OWEN SCHOOL

Early engagement with the main contractor allowed Laser to take on the electrical design process, installation and handover. This modern 3 storey teaching block, including 18 new classrooms, staff offices and WC / changing areas was a particularly rewarding project as the exposed ceilings allowed our quality electrical workmanship to be on show.

Located on the edge of Braintree Care Co had an opportunity to build a purpose built new head office & warehouse facility.

As part of this complete new installation we undertook all major electrical installation services, power, lighting & overseeing client direct specialists.

The sheer size and complexity allowed Laser to ‘think out the box’ to add real value and input into the programming and installation process to assist the main contractor to deliver this project on time to the client team.

CHELMSFORD THEATRE REFURBISHMENT

The revamp has transformed the theatre from a worn-out venue that hadn’t been updated for many decades, into a sleek, stylish, and welcoming space which is ready to entertain audiences.

The theatre’s foyers, box office, bar areas and toilets have all been upgraded, resulting in a dramatic new décor scheme. The works have also provided more space for audiences to mingle and extra areas for new small-scale events and activities.

This project presented several challenges, which called for meticulous attention to detail. Due to the building’s age, we could only gather information once the ceilings and walls were exposed. However, this provided an opportunity for Laser to effectively communicate important details and propose solutions to ensure that the electrical services were executed to an exceptional standard.
