In the cleaning and hygiene sector, there is no greater honour than to have your products and services recognised by your peers as the industry’s best.
That’s why members of the SEKO UK team were delighted to accept the award for Best New Product at the Laundry & Drycleaning Awards 2024 after LS100 was named as the year’s finest innovation in a strongly contested category.
The ceremony was held at The Grand, Brighton and was attended by professionals across sales, technical, operations and every other function of the essential laundry and drycleaning industry.
Representing SEKO at the gala event were UK Country Manager Richard Burnikell, Technical Manager Michael Tanner and Sales Manager Mark Lester who, along with the rest of the SEKO UK team, have brought LS100’s revolutionary venturi-powered dosing to laundries across Britain.
This exceptional achievement reflects LS100’s transformative impact on the global cleaning and hygiene industry, with its unique dosing function offering exceptional reliability and minimal maintenance requirement.
That’s not to mention the system’s Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, which allows users to access system status and live and historical wash data on demand via the dedicated SekoBlue smartphone app for unrivalled insight into process cost.
With remote communication at their fingertips, operators are also able to enhance efficiency by carrying out programming and monitoring system status 24/7 whether they’re at home, at work or on the move.

The team at SEKO headquarters in Rieti, Italy were delighted to host Timothy Vohmann and Jose Herrera from valued partner Davey, who were joined by SEKO Australia Managing Director Vince Neal for the 8,000-mile journey from Down Under.
A major player in the Australian water sector, Davey helps supply farms and businesses, deliver clean drinking water, and provide protection from fire and flood and supplies for farms and businesses.
With the company also heavily involved in the swimming pool sector, Mr Vohmann and Mr Herrera spent time with our R&D team to discover the innovative SEKO chlorine dosing systems in development for 2025 and beyond.
The visit was also a perfect opportunity to discuss the challenges Davey and its customers face and identify existing chemical dosing solutions for their processes including IoT-enabled systems such as the fully integrated PoolFeeder range.

When WSI, a chemical supplier to commercial laundries, needed a dosing system capable of serving a busy 10-washer site, they turned to SEKO for a high-performance solution.
The laundry’s wash demand of 1,000 kgs per day meant that the dosing equipment had to not only be precise and consistent but also robust and reliable in order to reduce maintenance requirement and prevent costly unplanned downtime.
You can enjoy the full story behind this project as we present our latest video case study, which features on-site footage and exclusive interviews with WSI’s representative and SEKO’s sales and technical experts who helped to realise the project.

When a South African water-treatment specialist required a system for the measurement of pH, chlorine and turbidity, they approached SEKO to deliver a bespoke solution.
After performing a comprehensive assessment of the application, SEKO’s Technical Sales Representative Quinton Alberto Bassani recommended two high-precision control instruments from the Kontrol Series range.
For pH and chlorine, Mr Bassani specified our Kontrol 102 controller, which offers simultaneous measurement of two parameters and is SekoWeb compatible for 24/7 remote access to process data.
As well as the ability to view measurements across a selected period in graphical form, SekoWeb allows operators to adjust set points from their smartphone to accelerate the improvement of water conditions.
Meanwhile, turbidity measurement is carried out by our Kontrol 100 system, which features a Modbus RS485 port to enable the operator to integrate the controller with their SCADA or PLC for remote management and measurement.
Both systems are controlling a SEKO solenoid-driven Tekna TPG pump using one of the 4-20mA outputs with PID control for correction, allowing the operator to keep within the required measurements for different applications.
As well as supplying these state-of-the-art solutions, the SEKO technical team was on hand to get the installation fully operational as part of our comprehensive product and service offering
