Since 1976, SEKO has delivered unmatched chemical dosing precision, consistency, and reliability to the water-treatment and cleaning and hygiene industries. Our next-generation pump solutions revolutionise process management, enabling operators to achieve superior performance, efficiency and sustainability.
Welcome to the latest edition of SEKO World, your bimonthly newsletter for all the latest updates from across SEKO’s worldwide operations.
As always, we have an issue packed with global news including the supply of crucial systems for a temporary wastewater treatment plant, coverage from internal training in South America plus a behind-the-scenes look at SEKO chemical dosing skids being shipped from our Spanish warehouse.
That’s not to mention exclusive photos from Expoindustrial 2025, where SEKO Colombia showcased water-treatment solutions to visitors from across South America. There’s all that plus the chance to see SEKO systems installed and helping professionals like you to elevate their processes. Enjoy the issue.
SEKO recently collaborated with engineering solutions provider Glanua to provide essential equipment for a temporary wastewater treatment plant in the UK.
Located in Kingsclere, southern England, the site is operated by Thames Water – the UK’s largest water and wastewater company – and serves a population of more then 4,000. Thames Water had taken the decision to upgrade all four of the plant’s filters, which necessitated a temporary plant to ensure continued operation while the works were undertaken.
Working to a design by Montgomery Environmental, Health and Safety (MEHS), Glanua had a requirement to inject oxygen into wastewater and approached SEKO’s technical team to supply a solution from our range.
After assessing the plant design and consulting with the Glanua team, our experts recommended two double-impeller Side Channel Blowers for the project. These robust systems are manufactured in die-cast aluminium and deliver air at up to 2,050 m³ per hour, with no wearing parts meaning they require no lubrication and virtually zero maintenance.
This technician-friendly solution was the ideal fit for Glanua and Thames Water, both of whom have reported impeccable performance from the systems.

From 13th to 15th August, SEKO Colombia was at Pacific Valley Events Center, just outside the western city of Cali, to exhibit at Expoindustrial – one of Latin America’s foremost industrial exhibitions.
This prominent trade fair brought together more than 6,000 professionals – including project engineers, engineering directors, plant and maintenance managers and purchasing managers from food, cosmetics, plastics, steel and countless other sectors.
With these visitors seeking solutions to elevate productivity, safety, efficiency and sustainability in their processes, the SEKO stand was a hive of activity across the three-day event.
As well as demonstrating SEKO’s world-leading chemical dosing pumps, controllers and measurement equipment, the SEKO Colombia team will be on hand to discuss the challenges that visitors face in their applications and how these solutions help overcome them.
SEKO’s LS100 dosing system is established as a leading solution for on-premise laundries worldwide, helping managers in sectors such as healthcare and hospitality to improve wash performance and save money in their operations.
That’s why, when cleaning specialist Werner & Mertz was refurbishing the on-premise laundry within an ESAT (a work assistance establishment for those with disabilities) in the Haute Vienne, France, they selected LS100 to enhance dosing precision and reduce costs.
The immaculate installation allows the precise injection of six chemicals to multiple washers, with LS100’s modular design meaning the setup can be easily extended with the addition of extra dosing units.
Meanwhile, the operator is benefitting from LS100’s IoT connectivity, which allows them to track chemical consumption from their PC, laptop or smart device 24/7.

At SEKO, as well as providing off-the-shelf chemical dosing solutions we love creating bespoke systems for our partners in order to help them meet the unique needs of their applications. This was in evidence recently when Didac Fontanals, SEKO Spain Technical Manager, headed up the manufacture of dosing skid solutions for customers operating in the country’s watertreatment sector.
These skids include systems such as our motordriven Spring Series dosing pumps, paired with the IoT-enabled Elektra controller for round-the-clock access to data and programming. Mr Fontanals was also responsible for the production of a cabinet-style skid containing two solenoid-driven Tekba EMG pumps and a panel containing safety features such as an emergency stop function.
Once completed to the customers’ precise specifications, these solutions were prepared for dispatch from the Barcelona factory and delivered ready for immediate installation and commissioning.

When a North American industrial laundry facility required a multi-product chemical dosing solution, SEKO was on hand to provide systems from our award-winning range.
The operator needed to dose detergent, fabric softener and additives into two continuous batch washers and one open-pocket washer and provided installer Pariser Industries with a clear brief prioritising precise dosing, remote monitoring, real-time data and clean design.
Having developed a successful partnership with SEKO across major installations over a number of years, the team at Pariser didn’t hesitate to invite us to supply a solution and we were delighted to recommend two Wash Tunnel units and a wallmounted WashMulti Air system.
Wash Tunnel is an application-specific system for CBWs that features up to five dosing modules which each serve a specific point of the process from pre-wash to final rinse.
Meanwhile, Wash Tunnel’s integrated flush system ensures lines are clear before the next dose, helping the operator achieve repeatable results and preventing chemical wastage.
For the open-pocket washer, WashMulti Air was chosen for its renowned high-precision detergent injection as well as its Proof of Dosing flowmeter. This device guarantees dosing consistency regardless of feeder tube degradation for repeatable wash results that clients can depend on.
Plus, with SekoWeb compatibility for all products, the management has 24/7 access to live and historical wash data from any location, enabling them to confidently calculate chemical consumption and cost per load as part of an efficient operation.

SEKO Spain’s technical team were recently challenged with creating a bespoke system for the measurement of pH, free chlorine, turbidity and temperature in a customer’s water-treatment application.
Developed in accordance with local legislation, the system is customised to the client’s precise specification and is built around Kontrol 800 Tech, an advanced multiparameter water-treatment control system.
Kontrol 800 Tech is capable of as many as seven simultaneous measurements and can also be used to measure ORP, total and combined chlorine, oxygen, water flow and conductivity. Plus, by fitting the system’s “Full Mode” model, SEKO’s technical team ensured the user benefits from pre-installed, application-specific configurations for the greatest possible precision and repeatability.
The installation also includes two solenoiddriven Tekna dosing pumps for accurate, reliable chemical injection, while remote connectivity is enabled thanks to a KommSpot device which creates a link between the physical installation and the SekoWeb app and online portal.

At SEKO Brasil, this policy of company-wide consistency and continuous improvement recently saw another internal training session held at the São Paulo office. Sales Assistant Marinara Pens Teixeira addressed employees with an invaluable talk on the application of standard operating procedures, which was part of her professional development supported by Sales Director Ricardo Fernandes and Logistics Coordinator Sergio De Biase Tsukamoto.
The training was delivered in a light, practical and collaborative way, and Ms Teixeira was full of positivity about the session: “It was a valuable moment of exchange and learning, reinforcing our commitment to excellence and collective development. I am having the incredible opportunity to develop SEKO Brasil in line with the principles already adopted globally by the company. We remain firm on the path of innovation and continuous improvement!”
