Days to keep in mind

8th November – Remembrance Sunday: Remembrance Sunday is a day to show our appreciation for those who fought for our country. Consider showing your support by raising money for a charity such as The Royal British Legion, either by selling poppies in your shop or even offering a discount to veterans. You can also use the hashtags #PoppyAppeal and #lestweforget to show your support on social media.

27th November – Black Friday: Black Friday is one of the biggest days of the shopping calendar and is worth its weight in gold. Join in on the excitement by advertising deals in advance and using the hashtag #blackfriday to reach customers looking for a deal.

28th November – Small Business Saturday: This is an important day of the year for many framers. Use this day to remind customers that supporting small businesses is a great way to give back to the community, but not only that, be proud of yourselves for what you have achieved! Use the hashtag #smallbusinesssaturday to achieve even greater things. 30th November – St. Andrew’s Day: St. Andrew’s Day is definitely the day to celebrate Scottish art and artists. Our favourites include the wonderful Scott Naismith, Frances Salvesen and Angus Wilson. If you can, also use Scottish artwork in your displays or decorate using tartan to commemorate the Scottish holiday. December – Festive Season: Encourage your customers to make their loved ones feel extra special this year with a framed gift. Whether it’s a child’s drawing, a family photo or a pet portrait, a framed gift is sure to brighten their day and is a gift that they will treasure for a lifetime.

You can also make the most of the festive season by posting Christmas related content on your social media channels throughout December, this ensures that your customers have you in mind when shopping for the perfect gifts! And remember, inform customers of your last dates for guaranteed delivery to avoid losing potential business!

January – New Year: Hopefully your customers will have had a fantastic Christmas and will have lots of festive photographs to frame as gifts, or for their own homes! Friends and family will feel more precious this year than ever before, so make sure that your customers think of you to preserve their special moments.
