Maintenance: The interior maintenance of units is the sole responsibility of the owner. Owners are responsible for keeping their air conditioner and water heater in good repair. Owners are required to have their air conditioner serviced twice a year. Refrigerator water lines must be inspected for leaks every 12 months. When leaving the Del Mar, it is the owner’s responsibility to make certain that the unit is properly secured. All balcony/lanai furniture must be removed anytime you are away for more than 48 hours. After severe storms, the On-site Administrator, without liability, may need to inspect unoccupied units.
Social Room: The social room is for owners, renters, and guests. If you would like to reserve exclusive use of the Social Room, you must reserve your time by signing up 2 weeks in advance in the calendar book located in the Social Room. Private parties can only be organized by owners of record or renters of record. An advance refundable $100 damage deposit with the On-site Administrator. Appropriate attire is required including shirts and shoes. No wet swimwear is permitted. Smoking is not permitted in the Social Room or on the patio.
Parking: Parking assignments will be made by the Parking Committee on an annual basis. The committee will make recommendations to the Board based on the following: Seniority is by the date of unit purchased. Exceptions can only be made with the approval of the Parking Committee and the Del Mar Club board. Each unit has one parking space. Additional parking is in Guest parking – last row. Parking in the circle is reserved for loading/unloading and is limited to 10 minutes. All bicycles must be stored in the bicycle storage area or inside the Owner’s unit. They are not to be stored on a Unit’s lanai or balcony.
Chickee and Pool: Pool hours are 8am to sunset. No night swimming. All persons use the pool at their own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty. Only 25 people are allowed in the pool at a time. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. No running, shoving, excessive noise, diving or jumping into the pool. No food or beverages allowed in the pool or on the pool deck. No glass or animals in fenced pool area. Maximum pool depth is 8 feet.
Renovations: Renovations are limited to April 15th – November 15th. Work hours are 8:00 am-5 pm Monday-Friday. Any exceptions must be approved by the Board of Directors.
Laundry: Hours are 7 am-9 pm daily. Washers and dryers are provided on Floors 2 through 7 for use by members, renters, and overnight guests. Use only low-sud detergents. The trash chutes are located in all Laundry rooms and between the stairwells on Floor 1. No breakables allowed in chute bags and only use securely tied small bags.
