SPOILT FOR CHOICE

[spɔɪlt fɔː ʧɔɪs]

Investing in good hair gives you the best chance of looking and feeling like the best possible version of yourself.

HAIRCARE

LARRY SAYS

It’s been a busy few months for myself, Laura and the whole Larry King team. The salons continue to buzz, rocking away every day and producing the most incredible work. I love seeing the good vibes in the salons. In fact, when I think about it, one of my absolute favourite parts of being a hairdresser and salon owner isn’t just the hair transformations I see, but the transformation in people’s mood and confidence.

Having a haircut, colour or blow-dry seems to be the equivalent of a mini holiday, spa weekend - or in some cases an all-round life affirming shake up. What I love to see is some of the busiest people I know booking in that little bit of me time: a pre-organised, pre-determined mission of self-love and self-indulgence. Etching in just a little bit of time for themselves.

It’s this little bit of magic that has inspired the latest hair hero to hit the Larry King Haircare shelves. I’m excited to share with you our newest, and possibly most luxury, indulgent and self-investing product to date: our Spoilt For Choice Hair oil is formulated with a plethora of naturally derived oils including Rosemary oil, Jojoba oil, Argan oil and Squalane to help nourish and strengthen the hair as well as help soothe and revitalise the scalp and really importantly, unlike many other oils on the market is formulated without silicones, and it is vegan, free from alcohol, sodium lauryl sulphate, parabens, phthalates and petroleum.

With a drop of hair health in every use, you’ll be truly spoilt for choice amongst the array of benefits this hair hero has to offer and the ways you can use it. Rosemary oil is often hailed as a homeopathic remedy and is said to provide anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties whilst helping to reduce the occurrence of flakes on the scalp and stimulate hair growth. This multi-tasking miracle is a true over achiever and we are so happy to have it in our hair oil.

Aptly named “Spoilt for Choice” by Aniah - our most recently qualified colourist - my lovely wife Laura has worked her design magic on the packaging. As always, our products truly are a collaborative creation from start to finish and we are so excited for you all to try this one.

From a trend perspective, we are all much more interested in maintaining the condition of our hair nowadays. If we think back to the over-processed 80s perms, followed closely by excessive straightening throughout the 90s and early 2000’s, we see the stark difference in attitudes towards hair care between then and now. The 2010’s brought glamour in the form of voluminous, glossy curls and waves - starting the shift towards the modern association with healthy hair as desirable hair. In the present day, hair health is reflected in trends such as the relaxed wave, the popularity of the classic, bouncy blow dry, and the progression of the natural hair movement.

There is loads more incredible content in this issue of The Social Life, including images from our beautiful campaign shoot featuring my incredible friend and client, Victoria. As well as the lovely Gaynor Knightley, who I’m sure you’ll already recognise from our windows in Liberty’s, and gorgeous Juliette Mahieu who has the most incredible head of hair.

I hope by reading this, it gives you a chance to take a bit of time to slow down for a minute and spoil yourself.

WHY DOES GOOD HAIR MAKE US FEEL BETTER?

“Working your job, while working on your mental health, while working on your relationships, while working on physical health, while working on your family, while working on sleep habits, while working on self-care, while working on exercise, while working on personal goals while working”

I think this perfectly sums up modern life. Whether we like it or not, I think we can all agree on two prominent factors of modern life: firstly, our image seems to hold greater importance than ever before. Secondly, we seem to have less time than ever before.

Clearly, investing in yourself - and in good hair - helps with both of these problems. Investing in good hair gives you the best chance of looking and feeling like the best possible version of yourself. When our hair is not looking its best, it has a big, negative impact on the way we feel - just ask anyone who’s had a bad haircut or has suffered a trauma which had affected their hair! No amount of makeup or fancy clothes can fix that. Your hair is always there. Front and centre. One of the first things anyone will notice about you is your hair. If it’s not right you feel that.

You have to fight your hair in the mornings. Struggling to style it in such a way that it looks good - even if it is just for a brief moment. But the fight can be frustrating, time consuming and ultimately futile.

As an industry, hairdressing is said to be recession-proof (I’m not sure that’s 100% true and I’d rather not find out), but when people look at how and where they can save money, their hair is often one of the very last things people are willing to give up. It’s one of the few things that make us feel instantly so much better. Eating out, takeaway food and buying clothes just don’t seem to have the same rejuvenating effect.

According to Google, searches for “self-help” have more than quadrupled in the last five years. And for good reason! People are realising that self-care is taking the steps to tend to our physical and emotional health needs to the best of our ability. It helps us cope better with daily stressors: work stress and the stress of trying to keep up with daily life which technology has hastened more than ever. Having good hair massively improves your self confidence and self esteem. This helps make you feel ready to take on the day and subconsciously empowered.

@LARRYKINGHAIRCARE THE WELLNESS EDITION 9

IT’S WHAT IS ON THE INSIDE THAT COUNTS

At the heart of the formula is a plethora of naturally derived oils including Rosemary oil, Jojoba oil, Argan oil and Squalane to help nourish and strengthen the hair as well as help soothe and revitalise the scalp. These four ingredients are the core to our new nourishing Spoilt For Choice hair oil.

ROSEMARY OIL

Hailed for its anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties, Rosemary oil is thought to be able to help to reduce the occurence of flakes on the scalp and help to promote circulation in the scalp which can prevent hair loss. If you desire fuller, thicker, and more luscious strands, Rosemary oil can help you on that journey. Known for its herbaceous aroma, Rosemary oil does way more than add flavour to your food. It’s a scalploving, nourishing antioxidant oil that can help to bring your hair back to life.

SQUALANE

Squalane oil is great for all hair types to replenish moisture back into your hair follicles and it helps to prevent further breakage, tame frizz and increase shine. By forming a soft film on the surface of the hair, squalane also plays an antidehydration and protective role.

JOJOBA SEED OIL

Jojoba seed oil is rich in vitamins and minerals that nourish hair, including vitamin C, B vitamins, vitamin E, copper, and zinc. It enhances the act of conditioning your hair, leaving it with better strength, shine, and manageability.

ARGAN KERNEL SEED

Heralded as “liquid gold,” Argan oil has extraordinarily high concentrations of vitamins A and E, plus linoleic acid. This rich combination of nutrients has been said to prevent environmental damage and add elasticity to skin and strands.

VICTORIA MAGRATH

Victoria Magrath, formerly known as InTheFrow, is a multi award-winning luxury fashion beauty blogger and influencer who launched her blog after becoming a Doctor of Philosophy in the department of Textiles at the University of Manchester. She now boasts a following of a modest 1.3million on Instagram, 700k subscribers on YouTube and an impressive 677k on TikTok which has helped her work alongside, and become ambassador for, some of the most influential and internationally recognisable brands worldwide.

Not only is Victoria a blogger and influencer, but she is also an author to a best-selling fashion business book “The New Fashion Rules” and her own blog that has a devoted following, and has previously worked as a lecturer in Fashion Retail for the Masters programme at Manchester University.

WHAT IS THE ONE THING YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF THAT PEOPLE MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU?

A lot of people that have found me in the last few years won’t know that I have a PhD in Consumer Behaviour. It’s something I’m super proud of. I got my PhD back in 2013 and started working as a lecturer at the University of Manchester. It’s one of my biggest and proudest achievements.

WHAT IS INSPIRING YOU RIGHT NOW?

Personally, I am in a very wanderlust state at the moment and very much wanting to book lots of holidays for the Summer, spending time with my friends and my husband in really lovely locations. I’m very inspired for travel at the moment. I’ve been spending a lot of time looking at very aesthetic photos of Greek islands. Equally on a fashion side of things, currently, I’m in love with everything that Saint Laurent is

making. All the silhouettes and fabrics that Saint Laurent are creating for the season is very much inspiring my own fashion wardrobe and is everything that I want to wear on these fashion trips.

WITH YOUR BUSY SCHEDULE WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE WAY TO WIND DOWN?

Most nights I like to have a really hot bath and take some time out. I’ll wear a Clé de Peau face mask or I’ll put a treatment mask in my hair like the Spoilt for Choice oil and leave it in for an hour.

HOW WOULD YOU DEFINE BEAUTY?

Beauty is very much subjective, what one person finds beautiful another person may not find as beautiful or vice versa. I think this is important to remember because

@LARRYKINGHAIRCARE THE WELLNESS EDITION 13

there isn’t a right and wrong to what we define as beauty, and I think it’s crucial that we are confident in what we find beautiful about ourselves, inside and out.

That would be my husband, my dog and my family, definitely the most important things to me in my life!

WHAT IS THE MOST ADVENTUROUS THING YOU’VE DONE IN YOUR LIFE?

I went on a 10-week tour of America! It was a road trip of America, and it was right after University so I had saved up money throughout University so I would be able to go and it was the most amazing Summer ever! We travelled 13,000 miles in total, from New York all the way around the edge of North America, going clockwise, all the way back to New York and visited around 32 states on our way. It was just awesome!

IF YOU HOSTED A DINNER PARTY AND COULD INVITE 3 GUESTS DEAD OR ALIVE WHO WOULD THEY BE AND WHY?

I would say Frank Sinatra, my Grandad, because he would have loved to have met Frank Sinatra. And my Alex, because he would also love to meet Frank Sinatra and then we could all ask him everything about his cool life.

IF YOU COULD GO BACK AND GIVE YOUR YOUNGER SELF ADVICE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

We were staying in a tent for almost all of that 10-weeks, I think it was 8 weeks’ worth of staying in a camp site in a tent with 12 other people that I didn’t know but ended up finding incredible friendships with, and just had the most incredible time ever.

WHAT ARE 3 THINGS YOU COULD NOT LIVE WITHOUT?

What I would say is don’t worry about what other people might think of you, I know this is quite an obvious one but it’s something that now as an adult I really don’t care too much about what people may think about me, which is such a freeing feeling and means I can just be myself through and through without worrying about other people’s perceptions. I wish I had learnt this earlier so I could have been my true self without ever worrying. I’d like to just go back and let myself know that in life other people’s perceptions of you is their business not your business and just be the person that you want to be because when you get older you really won’t care what those perceptions ever were because they don’t have any grounding on your life and won’t change anything about you.

3OF OUR FAVOURITE WAYS TO USE OUR NEW HAIR OIL

Our new Larry King Haircare hair oil is a true over achiever. It has been developed to be used as a pre-styling or finishing product, an overnight treatment and a hair mask. Talk about multi-tasking…

OVERNIGHT MASK

Apply the oil on your scalp and hair and thoroughly massage into your roots. You can leave the product in your hair for 10 minutes, but for best results leave the oil in overnight. Tie your hair into a braid or cover in a silk wrap to create the ultimate overnight masking treatment. When rinsing the product out of your hair, we would recommend shampooing the hair twice to avoid any unwanted product when drying.

SCALP LOVIN’

With naturally derived oils including Rosemary oil, Jojoba oil, Argan oil and Squalene, Spoilt For Choice hair oil is here to help nourish and strengthen the hair as well as help to revitalise the scalp. Best-known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties, Rosemary oil can help to reduce the occurence of flakes on the scalp and help to promote scalp circulation. Our colour experts have also noted that if you scalp bleach your hair, then oil is a great after treatment for soothing the scalp after having been in contact with bleach. We love using using Spoilt For Choice hair oil in our slick buns as a scalp and hair mask during the day.

FINISHING PRODUCT

Running a couple of drops of oil through your completed style really elevates your look and creates a luxury feel to the hair. Alternatively, use it to help add moisture, finish a sleek style, or add softness and shine to curls and coils. Spoilt For Choice hair oil can be used on its own for shiny, polished-looking hair or you can mix it with A Social Life For Your Hair or Velvet Texture Clay for a looser styling creme/clay. Tip: a little goes a long way with this product!

NOTES: FROM OUR GANG OF HEALTHY HAIR EXPERTS

You want to think of your hair like it’s your favourite silk dress. You wouldn’t put a dress you love through a boil wash, then use a really hot iron on it, would you? Or even a cashmere jumper - you wouldn’t brush this five times a day. Your hair requires as much care and thought, so make sure you’re using the right products and a gentle touch. Whether you’re jetting off on your summer holidays or your hair is craving a little bit of extra love, our hair experts are here with their top tips on how to keep your hair looking and feeling fresh and healthy.

HOLIDAY HOLY GRAILS

Holidays... although they are great for the soul, they aren’t as good for your hair health. The sun, sea and pool are actually your hair’s nemesis. So at the end of a day in the sun we would add a few drops of Spoilt for Choice hair oil which acts as a mask and styling product in one. Pop it into a slick pony and allow the oil to nourish your hair after the day at the beach. Use the brush from our Flyaway Kit to really smooth out the hairline for a super sleek and luxe finish.

Maintaining a healthy head of hair on holiday is a must. “Salt from the sea and chlorine from pools can both strip your colour and make your hair feel very rough and porous”, says resident hair expert from our Notting Hill salon, Skye Haynes. It is important that you pack the right products to take away with you.

We always focus on the hair but sometimes it’s all about what the scalp needs for a well-balanced effect - especially when it has been exposed to the intense sun all day. Larry King explains that you should think about

@LARRYKINGHAIRCARE THE WELLNESS EDITION 24

cleansing your scalp in the same way as your skin. “If you were to use a daily cleanser that was harsh and stripping, your complexion would begin to produce oils to combat that effect – and your scalp is no different. The products you use are essential to maintain healthy hair and the natural balance of your scalp.” This is why it’s important to really consider the products you are using. Larry suggests using shampoos that are sulphatefree because “they’re known to be gentler”. The more time and effort you put into maintaining a healthy scalp, the better your hair will look overall.

A LESSON IN FRESH COLOUR

Using colour products changes the chemical makeup of your hair, so it is super important that you give your hair that extra love it needs when you leave the salon doors. The more good products you use to protect and look after your hair once coloured, the healthier it remains. The Larry King Good Life Shampoo is a firm favourite of LK colourist Luci Green for preventing the colour from fading and keeping it more vibrant between appointments. If you’re going to invest in good colour, then you need to invest in good aftercare.

Aniah Warner, our newest homegrown colourist from South Kensington, advises using “mostly moisturising and hydrating products - but also not forgetting protein too. Your hair will still need both but be careful not to

GIVE YOUR HAIR THAT EXTRA LOVE

overuse protein products as it can result in brittleness. If used correctly, it will definitely keep the health of your hair in great condition.”

MAINTAINING THE MANE

Treating your hair with the right products when regularly colouring it is very important to ensure your colour looks alive and fresh. South Kensington colourist, and expert in blondes and balayage, Sarah Philpot recommends regularly using our Spoilt For Choice hair oil as a hair mask.

“This can be more intense than your regular conditioner: it adds moisture and nutrients, increases shine and prevents frizz. Similar to your skincare routine, your hair needs a routine too!” Add our Spoilt For Choice hair oil to your routine, on wet or dry hair, to create even more shine, softness and control.

Try to avoid using harsh shampoos that will strip the colour. Always have

“ ”

sulphate free shampoos. Depending on the tones of your hair, a blue shampoo for brunettes can neutralise unwanted warm tones and a purple shampoo for blondes can enhance cleaner neutral tones. Make sure you are keeping up with toners in between your appointments to keep the colour looking fresh; Skye suggests every 4 weeks.

nourishment. A few drops as a head massage treatment would be nice and this is something that you can do at home. For all colours, it’s great for locking in the cuticles and giving hair that amazing shine. The oil locks in the cuticles, which will help prevent the colour from fading. So from a colourist’s perspective, it helps colour last longerand work as a barrier. Ultimately, it adds shine and shows off that beautiful colour!

If you have highlighted curly or coily hair and diffuse-dry your hair, you can use the oil to define the curls and enhance the colour. “It will really bring out the brightness and make it pop. It will also be great for your hair health, especially if you’ve been highlighting your hair and it’s a little bit wavy. The oil will be great for nourishing the hair”, says Luci Green.

Harriet Muldoon, our South Kensington blonde expert, also suggests using our Spoilt For Choice hair oil as a backwash treatment after people have had scalp bleaches. It is nice to run the oil onto the scalp for the

EMBRACING YOUR NATURAL HAIR

Larry has always been an advocate of working with your hair’s natural texture rather than against it. This goes further than just embracing your curls, waves or fine hair, but also when grey hairs start to appear. They’re something to be proud of. Enhance them, don’t work against them.

FRIENDS & FAMILY OF LK

EMMA LUCY KNOWLES

A renowned healer, clairvoyant, crystal whisperer, energy and light worker, spiritual coach, meditation guide and author, Emma Lucy Knowles has over 20 years of experience in the energy and spiritual field. When thinking about our well-being journeys, who better to ask about our journey to all round calmness...

HOW DID YOU FIND YOUR TALENT?

I found my talent at a really young age. I was around seven when I started interacting with crystals. I was picking them up in the shop when everybody else was buying sweets - that’s what I spent my money on. The ability to channel spirits came from when I was a young girl where I always felt connected to things that we couldn’t see. I always understood how people felt but had all these waves of emotion and didn’t really know what to do with them. We had a tragic family loss that I was

never told until one of those people in spirit came to visit me when I was 11 and told me about what happened. That was my first experience of channelling and understanding what I’m channelling.

FOR THOSE BEGINNING THEIR OWN WELLNESS JOURNEY, WHERE WOULD YOU SUGGEST TO START?

I would say we are already on a wellness journey. Don’t think about this as starting, think about this as adding value to who

you are and what you’ve always known about yourself. Wellbeing is all about being well. Don’t make wellness feel like a chore, don’t feel like you have to do something for the sake of it. Make your wellness journey as enjoyable as going and having your hair done or something that you enjoy doing that you perceive as treating yourself.

Ask yourself what does wellness feel like to me? For example, does meditation feel like it’s a treat to me or am I adding stress

by doing this? By purchasing crystals and interacting with their energies, does that feel like it’s something that is enriching me or do I feel stressed when I’m doing it? Or does it feel like the easiest thing that adds value to my life. Start thinking about it in terms of where you see the most value rather than feeling like I just don’t know where to begin and then not starting at all.

Bringing in crystals is an amazing starting point as it allows us to bring in the energy without needing to make drastic change. They work towards aligning our energy so then they align us on the path and with the vibration – when we are aligned with that vibration, we’re pretty much unstoppable because our gut and intuition kicks in allowing us to know what is right for us.

to everyone else’s energy, and would never really tend to my own, so in order to spend the day feeling like I’m working well and good for everyone else, I get up early in order to ensure my energy is completely aligned and ready for everything that’s coming for the day.

WHAT IS YOUR MUST-DO GO TO BED ROUTINE?

Before I go to bed, I’ll always have a stretch - even if it’s just lying in bed. I’ll make sure that I can stretch my arms from my head, rotating my neck a couple of times, and then it’s my time for giving thanks and looking back over the day.

bullet to distract me because it wants to keep us safe - it doesn’t want us to grow. So “I am and I can’” is my big one. It just helps me put that voice out of the room and focus on what my heart and soul is trying to say.

WHAT IS THE MOST ADVENTUROUS THING YOU’VE DONE IN LIFE?

I went to Brazil and I built a school for the Bobby Moore foundation for cancer research which was phenomenal. I had absolutely no idea what we were doing, but we went off into the national park and built a school which was an incredible experience.

Then ask yourself “what do I think I am lacking in my life now” and then finding the correlating crystal for that and carrying that within you. If you are wanting to bring something in to give you that release from what is holding you back, we can also ask: “Where do we feel like we are stagnating?” If this is in friendship: a piece of dalmatian jasper to get you into loyalty. If it is in grief, for many a reason life throws upon us, a piece of pink tourmaline could help. Crystals are going to – not just take away from your life so you feel depleted – but always going to be serving your energy first and then centring you with who you are naturally.

Fundamentally, this is what treating yourself with kindness and being in a state of being well and looking after your well-being means to me.

WHAT IS YOUR WAKE-UP ROUTINE?

I have quite an intense wake up routine. I get up at 6am, I meditate and then I try to journal anything I’ve seen or felt to get that all down. I’m currently learning to teach Qigong, so I’m up and doing my morning practice. It’s all about getting my energy in a space that feels good for helping other people align their energy. I learned that for a very long time I was tending

I do this because your brain tracks the last things that you’ve thought about before going to sleep, and that’s what you take into your dream. So I try to keep my mind really clean, positive and uplifted and on the trajectory to the things that feel really good. This really helps me sink into sleep especially as I’ve never naturally been a good sleeper. It’s a time where my mind goes “right, you’ve got time to think”. So I make sure I think about all the things that I’m grateful for and appreciate. And equally, the things that didn’t go well today. I like to think about how I’ve learnt from them or how I could do better with them. I think it is all about how we just change our mindset before we go to bed.

WHAT IS YOUR DAILY AFFIRMATION?

My daily affirmation is “I am and I can”. I channel a lot of people which means I’m communicating with spirits through my being, hearing my voice, and then giving it back to somebody. So you have to really be in a state of trust.

IF YOU COULD ONLY CARRY ONE CRYSTAL FOREVER, WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY?

So crystals work in a couple of ways: they allow us to align the energy within our body, and eventually we end up taking on that alignment so we don’t need to carry them forever. A lot of people come back to the rose quartz because that is a love stone, but for me the crystal I would carry forever is a chrysoprase because it allows you to speak your truth from the heart and with clarity. If I’m allowed a second piece, it would always be Selenite - the moon stone. It helps us keep in check with the balance of our energy. It allows us to realise there is good in the bad things and bad in the good things, so it’s about finding what that is to you and how to make the most of it.

I’ve learnt that even though I’ve trusted the voice, I haven’t always had the confidence with it sometimes. The ego comes in, you know that voice that says “oh don’t do that”. Ego uses the same voice as intuition, so where intuition is going “you can do this, you can grow, expand, give it a go, I have faith in you”, your ego is sitting there in the background saying “don’t do it, people will laugh at you” etc. So even if I’m having big moments, or if I’m sitting one to one with somebody, that cheeky little ego voice will find any moment to fire off a little

A SOCIAL LIFE FOR YOUR HAIR

What it means to us...

When Laura and I set out to open a salon we wrote down on paper how we hoped it would be. It said we wanted to create a space, where staff are happy, where they wake up never dreading work, where they feel appreciated, respected and a part of a family. We wanted clients to feel welcome, never intimidated, like they’d walked into our home and were welcome to stay all day. We called it “ A Social Life For Your Hai r”.

Now, it’s easy to write stuff down, but in our wildest dreams we never imagined that we’d achieve it so incredibly. Our salon has some kind of magic about it: an energy between our team and clients like nothing else we’ve ever known. It’s a place where you can catch up with friends over a cuppa (or one of our classic Bloody Marys if you’d prefer), listen to good music, and most importantly leave the salon with great hair.

The spirit of “ A Social Life For Your Hair ” resonated with me and Laura, the team and our clients so much so that it only seemed natural that we name our hero hair styling product after it. After launching the product five years ago, it has gone on to accumulate an array of beauty industry awards, gain a cult following and has been given the ranking of our best selling product. But we’re not surprised, it’s the salon in product form.

We are so hugely grateful for all the incredible support and love shown to us all over the last six years. From our loyal clients, friends of the salon, to everyone who has bought a Larry King Haircare product - thank you!

If you want to see what we mean by “ A Social Life For Your Hair ”, this is it right here in action. And if you want to take a little piece of the salon home with you, A Social Life For Your Hair is available 24/7 at larryking.co.uk

We were lucky enough to have Scott share his most recent Sofa Series with us, but for when you’re looking for a good read, you can find an array on his Instagram.

Not only is Simon Bolzoni a true gentleman and a pleasure to chat to, with a great head of hair to boot… he also has one of the most interesting jobs going. An artisan and a craftsman of the highest order : a bespoke shoemaker. After almost two decades honing his skills as a “last maker” - the hand-carved wooden mould from which the shoe is built - he has recently taken ownership of the company Canons Bespoke whose workshop was founded in 1840.

With well over a hundred years of tradition, and over 200 hours of work going into each pair - not to mention the finest leather and materials on the planet - the shoes really are a work of art. The price - anywhere from £612k! But who would pay that sort of money for a pair of shoes? Well, seeing as you ask… The British Monarchy, Charlie Chaplin, Paul Newman, President Franklin D. Roosevelt, Hubert de Givenchy, Charlie Watts & Fred Astaire to name

but a few! You’d be surprised how many similarities we find between both our crafts, it really is all in the details!

Always a pleasure Simon, until next time.

EDUCATION AMBASSADOR

Based at our South Kensington salon, Issey started out as Larry’s primary assistant for 4 years - travelling the world, attending fashion shows and living a hairstylist’s dream.

WHAT EXCITES YOU ABOUT HAIR STYLING?

I love giving people looks that are tailored just for them. A new look can feel like you have a new persona: whether that be cool, soft, perfectly imperfect, polished and glam, or sleek and edgy - the list is endless. I also love to get dressed with my hair being incorporated into my look as sometimes the hair can be the main focus.

WHAT IS YOUR LARRY KING HAIRCARE ROUTINE?

My Larry King Haircare routine can change day-to-day depending on whether I want to embrace my curls or give myself that perfect bouncy blow-dry. On the days I’m wearing my natural texture, I use a good amount of Nourishing Curl Enhancer and My Nanna’s Mousse to lock in and define my curls. Once it’s dried, I scrunch in A Social Life For Your Hair to hold the style. will reapply A Social Life For Your Hair for the next few days to really make my curls last and look their best. When I want to give myself that perfect bouncy blow-dry, I cover my hair in Volumizing Hair Mist and My Nanna’s Mousse, I’m never scared to use too much because they make my hair feel super light and bouncy.
