Hello from Lapwing Lapwing is a registered charity working with young people in Suffolk. We rely on grants, donations and income from schools and academies to enable us to offer our life-changing educational programmes.
What we do We provide individual learning programmes and work experience opportunities for young people marginalised through ill-health, disability or circumstance. Some are at risk of exclusion from school or college, others are unable to access current educational provision. Some of the challenges our students face are: Autism Behavioural & Emotional Difficulties Pregnancy Aspergers Learning disabilities Mental illness Exclusion Debilitating / progressive illnesses Being ‘looked after’ We design and deliver inspiring, individual and appropriate plans for each of these young people to get them back engaged with learning and receiving the support they deserve. At Lapwing we believe there are no ceilings on ability and there are no ceilings on what we can offer.
