This one-year course aims to equip graduates with the practical skills and knowledge to pursue careers as fitness instructors and sports coaches, or to provide an alternative route to third level education in a wide range of subject areas. Why should I apply for this course? This course offers a broad introduction to Sport, Exercise and Recreation studies, providing learners with the necessary skills to take up employment at entry level in the leisure industry. Learners will improve their knowledge, competence and understanding of physical fitness and sport both practically and theoretically.
