Nominate the local first responder of your choice who best characterizes and demonstrates commitment, dedication and bravery in his or her chosen line of duty. Honorees will be recognized at the Lee Greenwood Concert tribute to local first responders on September 11, 2010 at the Country Club of Lansing. As part of the recognition, Honorees and their nominators will receive passes to attend the concert. Extrication completed The Leslie Fire Department and the Lansing-Mason Area Ambulance assist at the scene of a two-vehicle crash that took place at about 7:40 a.m. Aug. 5 at Hull and Ingalls roads. Sheriff’s Rescue personnel helped with extrication as the driver’s door on a Monte Carlo required removal. Two people were transported from the scene with non-life-threatening injuries.
